  1. That depends a bit on your interpretation...

It could either mean it increases the changes of improving the Barrows items (which are more impressive than normal drops) or it increases the chances of gaining a better barrow item if you would get one anyway.

However, I believe that Barrows items are equal in the game (players may value one higher than the other, in the game they're the same level) so I believe it simply increases your chances of getting any Barrows item.

  2. Well I'm not entirely sure of this but whenever it does his so-called range attack (throws the big rock) I get a splash like you would get from a failed magic attack.

I was just wondering whether you guys are wrong about it's melee+range attacks, they could be melee+mage... ^^

  3. I don't think wealth at Tds is worth it. It'll make claws drop less, and shards more.

    Totall bull.

It will make both the shards and the claws drop more.

For more information on how the RoW actually DOES work, turn to the guide in my signature.

  4. I've recently returned to RS and im hearing about a new skill for F2P. I've also heard about Jagex making Skillcapes F2P. Is the Skillcapes and new skill all confirmed by a J mod?

There is going to be a new skill and it is going to be F2P.

    Jagex has confirmed this.

The skillcapes will not go F2P (at least not anytime soon as Jagex has said they wouldn't go F2P).

  5. What do you think is left to give out for Halloween? Grim reapers hood, the scythe? Are his robes coming out now? He lost them in the wash and you the unfortunate player has to go back and help him find his clothes before he catches a severe cold.

If that's the assignment then don't expect him to give you the robes after you get them cause that would result in him still catching a severe cold... ;P

  6. You simply can not remove your costume room while there are still items in the chests so you don't even have to worry about it. :P

If you don't have the space to store the items temporarily then there is no way you can even remove the room.

  7. Get a lot of bellows and fill them all with gas.

Fill 3 toads (you can't fill more then 3 at the time) with swamp gas.

Drop them in the hunting area.

Fill 3 more and drop those too.

Keep doing that and kill any birds coming down.

If you keep doing this you can have toads on the ground at all time and birds should be around a lot.

Note - If there's 6 toads on the ground don't drop any more untill one is gone. Dropping another would cause your first toad to explode anyway.

  8. A few quick answers (as far as I can give those):

50 charms an hour is pretty decent I think, waterfiends would get you more but with a lot less profit I guess.

RoW would increase your chances, but nobody knows how much exactly so that would probably be what you like most (I like RoW). :P

  9. I'd prefer a bunyip over Guthans but seeing as your summoning is nowhere near a bunyip I guess Guthans would be a decent choice.

A Saradomin sword might be nice too although I haven't tried that one yet.

I'm not very fond of Dharoks, I don't think it would be too handy on tasks anyway.

  10. Jagex managed to get rid of automatic woodcutting/mining bots by installing the trade limits, thus making real world trading near impossible.

This made woodcutting and mining a lot more profitable as people still need yews or coal.

Both of these can be collected as F2P player, though you would have to train for it a bit.

Seeing as your levels aren't extremely high it might be a valid way to do it anyway, you'd gain some woodcutting or mining levels and earn some money.

If you want to start earning cash right away you could try something dumb like picking flax and making those into bow strings (I'm not sure if it's still as profitable as it was but it would still get you money).

    As for the magic gear:

I wouldn't try and get the best there is as that's very expensive and would just cost you way too much time.

You can easily mage metal dragons with a little lower magic gear.

I never really mage metals but some nice armors would probably be Dagon'hai robes or Ahrims.

for the staff you could use the Ancient staff or if you really want something expensive the Master Wand (they both had the 10% rise added).

  11. Has anyone else noticed the dragon hatchet downward [bleep]es 4-5 and 7-8 september in the GE graphics..?

    They look really weird. xD

Also the average-lines are broken up to those [bleep]es...

I'm assuming it's a bug or something but if anyone knows more then I do please tell me as I'm kind of curious. :P

  12. To get more then one of the staff you had to have done it during the quest. The part where you make it yourself. If you don't do it during this you can't make another one.

What if I lose it? Am I stuck without one?

Yup. You're then stuck with the Dramen Staff unless you can go back and make it again, which i doubt you can.

You can buy a second staff if you lose the first one.

You just can't have 2 at once.

  13. Ok, I really like chatting with people while I'm doing my stuff on RuneScape, but if there's one thing I absolutely hate then it's mandatory events.

It's a game, not a job, and I actually have a normal life.

I'm simply looking for a clan in which I can do whatever I want whenever I want while chatting with the other members.

Of course I don't mind going on some events now and then, but I really it if you are obliged to attain a certain amount of events per month.

If there's anyone with a clan like this, please let me know. ^^

    Country: Holland

    Timezone: GMT+1

Mostly available at weekends and some evenings.
