  1. I wasn't thinking much of it, and I'm still not, but someone posted this on the RS Forums, and with a Mod's statement, I think there is a decent amount of vailidity now added to this topic in my eyes. Mod Ash Jagex Mod 03 Jan 2006 10:10 In the news about the Christmas update we said it'd be removed on 3rd January. However this has had to be changed to 4th January. The next update needs more testing before it's ready for release. Sorry, please don't expect the update today © (i think you'll find it worth the wait.) Not sure what they mean, because they always seem to say i think you'll find it worth the wait, but w/e
  2. Ok, well before I say mine, i just want you to know that I'm not very good, but I did kill all the brothers, and this is what the result was: 4 days worth of 6 hours a day during a week of summer vacation with nothing good. Only runes and other stuff like that
  3. Yeah... ummm.... Hmmm... I'm gonna leave this topic now
  4. Ok. I might not be able to update for a very long time. I am having some... family problems to say the least. Sorry, even though I know this wasn't very good in the first place.
  5. No. The mage form the introduction to the story killed his brother. I hope I made that more obvious... And the mage did appear, because Glenthor had a conversation with him. I will probably be doing revisions to it after I finsh Chapter One. That is only part of it, as I wanted to post something.
  6. The post was delayed becasue my computer froze. I hope you like it, and no, his tale isn't the whole rest of the story. Just answering that question ahead of time.
  7. Chapter One From within the shadows of the tall castle wall, a man in dark wizarding robes appeared. He stepped forward to examine the water fountain in the courtyard, and then decided to turn to his left, and begin walking down the stone pathway. A unicorn trotted slowly past the hedges bordering the pathway in which the man walked. Inclining its head in curiosity got it nowhere, as the man only stopped to examine the unicorn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s horn. A dark twinkle of blood red escaped from the man̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s eyes, staring hungrily through the hedges. He did not move to breathe, nor to straighten. He stayed in his hunched position, staring at the creature. The unicorn knew not what was going on, but felt uneasy toward the strength in which the man̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s eyes held. A dark, long object was lifted high into the air. The unicorn started backing slowly away. A deep red glow emanated from the tip, and spread quickly to the man̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s feet planted firmly upon the ground. The red turned white, and was sucked into the man̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s soul. Then, almost as quickly as the whole scenario started, it was over as he continued his walk down to the pillar-encircled space of smooth stones. A place of offerings to powerful, dead spirits. The unicorn, entranced by the man̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s mysteriousness, and by the colors that had surrounded him, trotted down to a seeing space within the hedges surrounding the offerings circle. As soon as the creature̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s eyes drifted to the man̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s, it was over. A burst of flames shot from the earth beneath the unicorn, and engulfed it in the heat. The flames then died away to the ground again, as embers this time, leaving the creature to fall the ground weakened. Then the flames circled around, and with the word ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅZamorak̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  8. You know you've been on the computer too long when someone gets the mail, tells you you got mail, and you respond, " No I don't. I just finished reading them." XD!
  9. I'm not sure what page this was on, as I had to find it through my posts. I will start writing more though, as at least two more people have enjoyed it. And I'm glad you found that the RS references weren't just thrown in. As a person that aspires to become an author, that really helps me feel good about my writing. And thank you all, all three of you, for reading my story. I will start updating soon.
  10. Thank you very much. I will continue to write more if about 4 more people post some sort of comment on it. As long as there is equal or more good comments as/then bad, I will update.
  11. I'm not using Internet Explorer. I am using SBC Yahoo! DSL... But thanks for the explanation. I just might check it out
  12. Ok. Thanks for that bit of information. Now for a little bit of off topic, what is FireFox?
  13. ( When an idea pops into my head, I reach for the nearest computer, and start typing away, letting the idea unfold throughout my mind. Sometiems, I just let everythignt hat coems to mind get turned into a shape on Microsoft Word before thinking of its affects. Then I go back, and turn it into a story line. As this is my first piece of writing on this forum, I am coming in with high hopes, although writing on one forum is different from writing on the next. If people here enjoy this story I have written, I will continue. Please feel free to criticize. I hope you enjoy my tale of Glenthor the Great.) **************************************** Glenthor bent down, and lifted the prototype sword from the cobblestone road, feeling the handle̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s slant not half as awkward as he feared. A small, lonely tear rolled off of Glenthor̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s cheek, and landed with a slight splat onto the ground. Glenthor never moved his gaze away from their lock on what was lying in front of him on the ground. His face grew pale, and then reddened. His eyes showed hatred as he clenched them shut. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Å There was no other way,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  14. I find it very frustraiting how when I am typing something that takes maybe about 20 minutes, and the site kicks me off when I hit submit. So far I have lost a quest idea, new area idea, and a very, very long story. It kind of makes writing things to my greatest extend on this forum very difficult if I cannot have some time. I am not sure when exactly I am kicked off, but it won't let me go back to copy it. When I click back, it says my page has expired. If any of the administraitors glance upon my suggestion, and at the very least think about helping me expnad the time, then I thank you in advance. -double
  15. While the idea is good, i think that the prices are a little.... erm... wild.... Plus Idk if people will ike this idea due to the fact that the reason 2h weps were amde was for 2 Hands
  16. Well I went to google, and put in a search on RuneScape (<=Spelled like thaT) and then I found the following image: ( the image wasn't working, so here's the link: http://siciliano8.tripod.com/runescape/ ... or29bd.png ) Well, I know it is a fake, but look at how good of a fake it is... I think that it isn't a bad Idea, and that they should make that the Zamorak armour. And maybe Saradomin armour could have like angelic wings or somehting, with all white specially designed armour. Guthix armour I'm not sure of, so you guys and girls can post your thoughts on that, and comment on anything about what I just posted. I think that the wings could be unlocked via a new Secrets of the Gods quest and it would let you fly to limit places. I think that the quest to let you fly with the wings should let you fly to the ONE major P2P city, and ONE major F2P city. And then other quests that follow can have a reward of New Fly option, letting you fly there. But the catch is that these quests can;t be too easy, except maybe for little places like Draynor. Remeber, I'm not a bad person because I like this design. I just think this guy that made this had a great idea.
