    It has been a few days since I've updated my blog. Not that I didn't want to.. I just didn't have the time. The past few days have been quite well filled for me. Last thursday, I spent my day with my girlfriend. Hadn't seen her in a few days, so there was some material to catch up on. In the evening I went to a meeting about the children's camp that my Volley club arranges. I am going to help organize it, which requires me to.. actually do things! I can't believe it :) but I am motivated to do so.
    Friday was quite busy :o My alarmclock was set at 7:30 AM. I woke up and went to work. I work as an accountant (next to my study) so my day was filled with office hours. (8:30 to 16:45). After I came home I had dinner and went straight to volleybal for an hour, to train the girls team. I immediatly went back home where we had a 'pronkzitting' (there isn't an english word for it as it is a local happening). We celebrate carnaval here next week, which is a wicked party for 5 days (6 for some). Four and a half hour of straight performances. Dance, comedy, music.. everything. All done by locals. Quite a happening.
    Saturday was busy aswell. I filled my day with mainly volleybal. Our own match we won with 3-2 (a 2 hour match! *gasp*) It was very exciting to say the least and I am still enjoying our victory at present time. After we came back, I went to see the match our highest team had that day. They won as well with 3-1. The girls that I train won with 4-0. (They have won every match with 4-0 this year!). In the evening I went out with the girl I told about earlier.. I believe I am actually in love with her. We'll see what happens. Leave my girlfriend and risk it all? Advice please?!

    Of course, surprisingly I started the day with daily activities. Haven't done them in a few days, as I haven't been able to play. I noticed my bank was holding 400+ seaweed and 400+ buckets of sand. I quickly went to Lunar Isle and got myself their spellbook. 600+ Molten glass later ;) aaah the sweet sweet profits of daily activities. I also emptied me kingdom for a nice batch of herbs. As with last time, I didn't sell them. I just keep them in my bank as items. As long as I don't have it as cashpile I won't be wasting it on .. well .. what ever I waste it on. (I am a quick spender, not an efficient spender).
     
    Seeing I was kind of lazy today, I went for the quick experience. I saw 72 firemaking, I saw Brawling Gloves (Fm) and I noticed the Yew logs which I was about to purchase of the G.E.
    The obvious results:
     



     
    The gloves aren't fully used and I am not sure wether I will finish them of with yew logs or magic logs. (magic logs are 25% more efficient but cost 250%?) That will most likely happen later this week. Can get 77 with these gloves I think. Not to high, not to low :)
     
    After that, I went penguin hunting. Something I haven't done in ages.. so I thought why not! I found 9 penguins and the polar bear (thank you W60_penguins). I couldn't be bothered with the elven penguin. That spot is just to annoying in my opinion. Over the past period I managed to get 22 points. With the 14 I gathered today, that gave 36 points. (Basic Math is a winner).
     
    36 points * 25 * 70 summoning = 63.000 experience.
     

     
    Oh.. and I did 2 farm runs so far. First one, during daily activities gave me 45 avantoes! The second one wielded 42 avantoes! Now that is profit right there. Most likely doing 1 more farm round today. That is some profit right there.
     
    P.S. If you have any ideas about something fun I could do (other then monster hunting) feel free to give me a tip. Suggestions are always welcome ;)

    Well the last few days were quite dull. I got a little cranky due to a shortage on sleep. I am not the person that goes to bed early, therefor I am usually screwed in the morning. Someone actually woke me up when the bus arrived at its destination. Saw my girlfriend today on the way home (we travel back home together). Going to see her tomorrow. The girl I fell in love with.. going out with her on Saturday. Don't know if I should do so or what else.. Feel free to give your view on this in below comments.
     
    The big thing that happened is, I signed myself up for Medical Tests. I hope to get in the Hepatitis C medication test. It doesn't really affect me and that is the way it should be. I will be going internal for 2x 5 days if everything goes right and if I get accepted. All the big question. They offer 1400,- if you do this. I can really benefit from the rest I get there, seeing I get stressed out with my current schedule. I'll only get better off this. Physically the medication is perfectly safe and the only side effects to be expected could be small headaches and little sick in the worst cases. Usually nothing happens (extreme safetey risks and constantly watched over) which is .. well :P what they wanted to know.

    Sorry guys, no pictures this time. Nothing big happened either.
     
    Today was a day of little joy. I logged on to do the daily activities (General Guides). As I did this, I decided I will continue my journey for the slayer helmet and perhaps afterward the slayer rings. I want both ;) Very useful items, especially when you want to farm Specters in the Polivineach dungeon. After 20 minutes at the Cyclopses, nothing.. Another 250 tokens gathered and I got the rune defender after 5 minutes. Btw, for those interested. I keep my Addy Defender in the bank! In case I ever lose my (last) rune defender, I can at least start of at the top.
     
    Afterward I decided to finish the slayer task with melee, putting the defender to work. Ranged isn't my thing. I got disconneced just as I went to attack a black demon. I logged in with 3 hp in the middle of the black demons, having a very small heart attack :P I survived, got myself back on track and finished the task. Currently 10 tasks done in a row, giving me 390 points. 10 short of the slayer helmet. Currently chopping up 176 Dust Devils in the chaos tunnels. A simple melee gear with rune defender yet again! Nothing exciting will happen tomorrow I think (busy schedule), as I will be going to my girlfriend in the afternoon and practice in the evening.

    Today, first day of the new month started out rough. I had to get up earlier then my body wanted. Ah well, the good news is. I got my laptop back! Previously I was playing on the old computer we have standing here, causing my game experience to be less entertaining then one would like after a hard day of work. O well, got everything back, all files, all songs. It is great :) Spend most of the afternoon installing everything I needed. Things like firefox addons, password entries. Fingerprint recognition. Yes, my computer uses my fingerprint instead of passwords. Pretty neat eh? My personal life is going strong. Last night me and my dancing partner went.. dancing. We skipped a level, which is a half year course. We did that half year in about an hour. Hopefully we can perfect all moves within 2-3 lessons, so we can learn along with the rest of the group. Also I had quite a good conversation with my female friend. (thanks for the tip on that) It gave me a good feeling I could finally tell what I carry with me.

    Well, the day started by doing all the daily activities, raising my cashpile by quite a bit. There is a guide in General Guides in this forum about the subject, making around a mililon in 40 minutes!
    Big thing was, I emptied my Kingdom:
     

     
    O yes, herbs and fish. I haven't sold the herbs yet. But if you count an aproximate amount of 4k per herb. Well, I am not going to do the math. It's quite a nice amount. After having finished all the daily activities, I went to the bank and took out my Slayer Gem. 208 Black demons. *gazes at 2x Ranged Brawling gloves*.. *Bingo!!* My next goal.
     
    A few days ago I mentioned I hated PvP.. well I still do. But 4x ranged experience = hawt! Therefor I dared myself into the PvP world once more. After dodging several pker's, I keep getting anoyed by those pkers that KNOW they can't kill me, DO waste runes on me and forcing me to just teleport the hell out of there. Waste of their runes, waste of my EP. Currently I am sitting at 50% EP and well.. there is no way to dump it. Trading kills is nerfed. Nobody volunteers. Whenever I ask friends, they tell me: ''let's scamtrick!'' .. right ..
     
    O well, the good part is. While dodging pkers and risking my stuff I managed to actually finish half my task so far rewarding me with the following level:

     
    Another level 80. Still got the first pair left and another pair banked. I think I will finish the entire task with brawling gloves. Might aswell I think. If you ever want to die for me ;) if you let me kill you twice, I suicide at DK's for you. (That's a suicider for 152k!) Ah well ;) wish me well!

    Last day of the month and what a month it was. The final days were quite busy for me. It all started last Thursday evening. I went to see Mark vd Veerdonk, a well known comedian in my part of the country. He isn't nationally known which is a shame. With his humour, he could have been famous, yet he decides otherwise. I went there with a old girly friend of mine. Can someone please post the correct words to say that my friend is both female, a friend and not an ex / current girlfriend? My girlfriend is grounded for getting caught smoking, therefor she couldn't come. Problem is, this old friend.. well she's about one of the few people in my life that I completely trust. I haven't spoken to her in several years (2 / 3 times in.. 2.5 years time) so we restored contact again. Problem is I'm falling in love. ;) Life is such a drama..
     
    Friday I was at work all day, after which I gave volleybal training. Weekly obligations fill my friday. Last friday tough, it was my fathers birthday. I spent the entire evening chatting with relatives / friends, most of which I simply love to chat. It was all good fun :) Tiresome, but all good fun. Having a social life is important, you might say hehe. An obligation I love to have.
     
    Saturday, I again gave training to a group of 8 year old children. (not having if that is what you were thinking). I sometimes take over from others when they are unavailable. In the afternoon I played 2 matches. First one, I had to participate with our first team. I play in the second team myself, but they often ask me to play with them. (Bench duty for the win, but the best place to view the match in my opinion). We won, 3-1, making it our first home victory this season. My own match, we won 4-0. A dull match against a weak/boring team. Didn't even enjoy it. In the evening I went to a Movie Marathon till 5:00 AM. I was tired :P I still am as I write this.

    If you read the above part, you'll know I haven't played much Runescape. In the little time I did have time, I managed to pull a few farming runs. Farming avantoes / kwuarms is worth it and boosts my bank bit by bit. For the few minutes invested, I'd say time well spend.
     
    Afterwords, I decided to finish the slayer task I had lingering there for quite some time now. 42 greater demons. Having no combat gear, I bought a cheap set. With a bunyip and an Enchanted Excalibur, there is no real need for food :) This gave me:

    Well today wasn't a very exciting day. I have the day of from school, as I do every thursday. Slept in till approximatily 11 o' clock. Yesterday evening we won a volleybal match with 3-0. It's a recreative competition which my team is nr. 1 ranked currently. Always nice :) My entire arsenal of services (floater, short, deep, EXTREMELY hard and 14m floaters) all went perfectly. Tonight me and a girly friend (the only way to say it correctly..) are going to cabaret. Other then that, little exciting going on today.

    So what happened in Runescape today. Due to having the day off, I went on with using thieving brawling gloves. That resulted in these little things:


    My first pair of Thieving Brawlers ran out about halfway, so I had to pull out my second pair. This ofcourse resulted in more goodies!


     
    If you were wondering what I do. I do pyramid plunder in a pvp world. I go to the highest - 1 room. (in my case, room 4). I check all for snakes + chest. If I have some time left, I search the urns to. Around halfway around the clock, I go to the highest room. I put on thieving gloves and do everything there. I use Enhanced Excalibur + Bunyip to recover my health. By banking every 2-3 trips, I managed to get around 100k loot out of it to. Tough it is hardly nessecary.
     
    Afterwards, I decided I had to much EP. (40% is max. out of hotzone) In my attempts to trick I noticed
    1) The Trick-trading got nerfed and.. nerfed hard to!
    2) Nobody out there is willing to die for you once.
    Seeing I just returned, I don't have a large list of friends yet. No way to back-up on that.
     
    So here I decided PvP just ain't my thing hehe. You won't see me returning any time soon to these PvP worlds other then to use up my left over brawlers. (I don't really like tricking anyway)

    Well hello there,
     
    Let me introduce myself. My name is David and I am a Dutch player. On a personal note, I am 20 years old, study Economics at Tilburg and enjoy Volleybal. If you want to know more ;) just read more blog entries in the future as I will have a personal part next to my Runescape part. But now for the interesting part. First off, in this first entry I will mostly be giving some history about my account and how I came to the point where I am at now. In future posts I hope to post every 1-3 days, with several screenshots and things I found. Mostly concerning Runescape. I don't see this as a personal diary in which I keep all my darkest secrets *rawr* ;)
     
    I have created this account years and years back, back when Scythes and bunny ears were dropped. Back in the time when I fished lobsters at Karamaja to convert them to certs, to sell those for 1k each (1 cert was 5 raw lobsters). Heck, raw lobsters were worth a bit less then cooked lobsters I believe. When I was bored I traveled to the Wilderness Castle to watch pures fight there. Seeing the rare 20+ hit was incredible and a lot of fun. Tough there wasn't much money to be earned with only strenght amulets and monk robes, they managed to entertain me :) In the meantime I'd gather runes from the castle, which I actually thought was good money! Ah well, good ol' newbie times.
     
    In the meantime I managed to ''quit'' quite a few times. Ranging from several weeks up to 2 years break. Finally I got myself membership, which a few months later was followed with another membership. This time to World of Warcraft. Due to my addiction to that I convinced myself to quit, which I managed. After that I went back for a short period to Runescape. Due to RSI (Repetetive Stress Injury) I was forced to quit Runescape. Due to recent events I found myself coming back with new interest and a new vision on how to play. With the dangers of RSI still in the back of my mind you won't see me mind-numbling mining for 5 hours straight. I love to use my wrist in the future to. What you can expect me to do is a lot of things on smale scale. Train a bit here, train a bit there. Try this method here, try this method there.
     
    On the moment of me writing this, I managed to build a character with a total level of 1799 and hope to achieve the 1800 well.. by this afternoon.
