Here's a link to the Archive of Wisdom guide for Mage Training Arena
That may give you a bit more insight into your friends suggestions

The only way into the ogre cave is through the orange dot. The other dots are for the Watchtower quest, and aren't really used afterwards.
-
Vulxai beat me to the guide page, so here's the relevant part about the black keys from it.
Black chests may contain level 2 clue scrolls, steel, black, mithril or adamant items. -
please use the Wanted: Gang Member! sticky
As posted please use that sticky for gang member partners
-
Going to lock, as it's not really an in game question and there aren't any "real" answers.
-
Not a definate number, but if you click on the Wanted quest in your in game quest guide. It will tell you at what level you are at.
-
There are too many answers that could fit into this, producing waaaaaaaay too much spam then. So I'm going to lock this

They trees are either, Yews, Willows, or Maples, Click on the Woodworking skill and try to match the log with the tree!
Not these trees, they can only bee seen in high detail. There is one just in the forest between lumby and draynor, south of the spider house. The other one is just south of the farming patch north of ardy. (between the cow pen and the farming patch).
They are just huge trees (bigger than any other ones in the game) and have no examine or anything option.

Yanille and Zanaris are the closest sand pits to a bank ( unless some of the newer towns have them). Might try using the interactive world map above the game screen. Might find something closer.

I've heard the temple building after Shades of Mor'ton quest is good. But I can never get a definitive answer on if it is or not. Anyone know if it's really worth it and how much xp per hour you can get there?
-
Yea, not the best way to get a lot fast, but it's a good steady amount. But if you do use him, another tip, is that if you have Lunar magic, Bert is included in the "Contact NPC" spell. So you don't have to "physically" visit him to get your sand each day.
-
Seems like just for looks to me.
-
Don't know about port phasmatys, but the carter ships trade in seaweed and soda ash (15 max stock of each). Not sure of the prices.
As for the Hand in the Sand quest. After you finish, once each day you can talk to Bert (from the quest) and he will put 84 buckets of sand in you bank. No cost, but like I said only once a day.

he logic behind adding more items and no bank space, is to drive players into becoming paying members.
And it's not in Jagex' best interest to keep F2P fresh and exciting. Why encourage people to stay there.
As has been stated earlier in this thread, F2P is for introducing the game to new players, letting them see if they like it and then to get them to join members. Whether a player can't or won't pay for members, doesn't mean that Jagex owes them more free content.
Yes as it has been said before, F2p is made so that prospective members can
view the game before they buy the full version.
But, as free to play is said to represent Members. If members grows, then free to play will have to grow at least in a small way.
Lets view the restaurant analagy.
when the restaurant gives out free samples, they should be reflective of the full restaurants real food. You cannot give a person a tastless hamburger as a free sample, and hope that they turn around and buy the full meal. Members will continue to buy thier membership based on what they see in free to play. That is all it comes down to.
F2P only "needs" to grow, if new memberships are declining.
And thanks for bringing back my restaurant analogy.
But in that example, if someone getting a free hamburger knows, that in 6 months the restaurant will be bringing something else to the "free menu", why are they going to shell out money for it?
Yes players will base their decision on F2p content. But for new players, there is already enough for them to make a decision, more stuff to do will only keep them in F2P longer (and not buying membership sooner). If a player has been in F2P for awhile, then they've already made their decision. If they don't want to get members, then why should they be catered too? Now if someone can't (parents won't pay, etc.), then unfortunately they have to just accept what they can get. It's not Jagex fault they can't pay. They aren't a charity.

Really too much to explain. But have a look here for a lits of each of the updates to the game. Also you might browse through the general and general p2p forums.
Going to lock this, one, but after reading some of the updates, feel free to ask about any ones in here (or the other appropriate help boards). That way, you don't get 14 month worth of update long posts from everyone to have to go through. :anxious:

It's not 100%, but it helps a lot. Unless you have a farmer watching, there is always a chance of dying.

As the question has been answered, I don't think anymore "bumps" need to be made to it. :-w

Was asking, because if you have glory amulet(s), then water would be much faster. Walk/run to the altar, craft then tele back to draynor. Granted only faster if you have a good number of ammys, otherwise you'll spend more time recharging than rcing.
