OMG I was just watching the news!
It appears Jagex offices were raided earlier this morning in England. three young teenagers are holding Andrew and several player moderators in Jagex's most popular game, Runescape. These three teens are demanding wildy to return, and are hodling hostage and not negotiating until they each recieve an item in game called a Christmas Cracker. -

Been having too much fun at pits with my void lol.
I 2 hit a cocky 115 that had full bandos and AGS two games in a row. My armor may be paper, but almost all his specs were either low 40's or 0's.
Most of my mace specs were high 40's and one 50. :twisted:
So yeah, that was fun... may go back for range helm sometime, but for now I'm enjoying my melee void. :

I hit 38 (so far) unpotted with it. BEASTLY!
I might have to get that too at some point.. although I think I'm gonna try no-life defence as much as I can possibly stand. :3 Shame summonning's gonna come out (most likely tomorrow) and spoil my combat level. ;_;

So yeah, been pitting a lots with friends. Been a blast.
I'm about 60k tokkul from my second onyx from pits, which I'll turn into a berserker necklace.
From there, depending on how things go, I plan on getting an Onyx Set (already got fury, next is berserker necklace, regen brace and ring of stone.)
Just thought I'd update. :)

Good to see you're still alive. and that neither of you are quitting I hope. This dosent overly affect me like.. I just dont like the idea of Jagex having total control over the market, and the fact that I can't borrow things like Azure's godsword anymore :3 ..not that he has it but y'know. :x

I wonder how many friendships will be lost as a result of people seeing what someone looks like, and suddenly changing their opinion of them, based on that.
Although on the other hand.. it could work the other way, and people becoming friends because they saw a hotty :3
I was a little apprehensive(sp?) to come here because I didn't really want the image I had in my head of them to change, but I'm really not bothered at all by it. It's just cool to know what they look like.
Also cool to see how old(ish) the person you'e talking with is. Some here are wayyy younger than i tougth they were.

Yeah, I was a little apprihensive at first too. Luckily, I only know one or two people from TIF.. and I knew what they looked like already. It's still weird actually seeing the face behind the names. You're right too, some people loook REALLY young, yet at the same time, there's some really older people too.. which as much as I know older people play RS.. ya don't really think about it untill ya see a picture of someone who isn't in their teens.

"A Gory, Drying Banshee" could mean they're going to be updating all the slayer monsters. I hope so, they really do look left behind in terms of looks.

Just last month I received a parcel of documents pertaining to Dragontooth Island, and I must say that they were very interesting reading indeed. There was even some sort of vague map of the place, though I believe it was a child's scrawl as it featured a terribly clicḫ̩̉̉d map to some buried treasure (it was even marked with an X, would you believe).
In general terms, I have gathered that Dragontooth Island was once some sort of outpost for Saradomin's forces many thousands of years ago and, during the God Wars or soon after, the garrison and all their facilities were quite brutally erased from the surface of RuneScape. A tragic tale, I'm sure you'll agree.
As for the 'Eastern Lands' you speak of, I've generally equated them with fairy tales told to impressionable children, but I concede that it is possible that these lands exist. As most of the fairy tales refer to 'grate fiery beastes enwrapt in poisons' and 'one-legged, one-eyed men of lymestone', I'm inclined to believe that they are not very close to Dragontooth Island at all.
Saradomin's statue, on the other hand, is much less mysterious, having been erected a mere hundred years ago by a group of refugees from Morytania who once went looking for those Eastern Lands. What became of them is, of course, unknown. I believe there are some in the Warriors' Guild who know more of these matters, but alas; warriors tend to be too preoccupied with their axes to tell stories.
