  1. For the past few weeks, I haven't been able to draw straight lines :s Anyone else having this problem? I used to be able to do it fine a while ago, but now I simply can't. When I'm holding down left click, and then I right click, the menu doesn't even come up anymore :S. Maybe my flash needs to be updates, I might go try that now, but it doesn't really make sense for it to be my flash since it worked fine before.

  2. Being a Nova Scotian, I wish they'd make a Halifax team. The farthest east team is Montreal =\. Of course Nova Scotia isn't very populated so people are probably worried that the games would get poor turn out, but since Nova Scotia and the Atlantic provinces in general don't have any professional team for any league in any shape or form, and the fact that not a whole lot happens out here, I think a Halifax CFL team would gather a massive fan base.

  3. The time required to get decent stats in Runescape makes it pretty addicting, and the fact that you can do other things while playing make it so it doesn't get too boring.

As other people suggested, learning a programming language is a good way to spend your time. You could also pirate a copy of Rosetta Stone and try learning a foreign language, such as German, if you wanted to. (PS. Sorry mods if I'm not allowed to mention pirating here, if so you can edit that out.)

If you want to try programming, I've seen threads before on other forums for first-timers wanting to learn a programming language and the general consensus seemed to be that Python was the best language to learn first. This is second hand though, I've never actually used Python, but I used to know a bit of C++ from when I took a course at school in grade 11 on C++. As for learning a language, there's lots of free websites out there to try, or you could go to a bookstore and buy a book on how to learn, as some people find that easier to learn from a book than trying to learn off of a website. I was planning on learning Python at one point, and picked up and e-Book version of This Book, but I never actually got around to it.

  4. Also read through that all :P.

I wish you could give me a bit of that Arizona heat :(. The past 3 or 4 days have been overcast, little bits of rain every now and then, and pretty cold. I live on the East Coast of Canada, it's 4:45pm right now and the temperature is 12C (54F), and we've probably only had about 5 days so far this year that have reached above 25C (77F).

Good luck with everything irl, and it's good to see you playing again.

  5. I'm currently fishing and dropping at barbarian outpost and I timed myself the other day when I was 65 fishing and I got 17k xp in 30 minutes, so that's 34k xp/hour. I was fairly undistracted during those 30 minutes though, I definitly probably average quite a bit lower.

My schools rival school, Citadel High, has a phoenix as the letter C in their schools name on their team jerseys and stuff. Here's that phoenix rotated 180 degrees, i think it looks quite like waterbirth, here's a side by side comparison:

  7. That picture is probably as old as you are alkaline.

OT: I don't know how you guys know all that history and stuff. Pretty much the only thing I know is that there are three gods, Zamorak, Guthix and Saradomin... yup, that's about it. Maybe I should take the time and brief through some of those articles.

  8. I write my 3rd (Chemistry 12 adv) of 4 exams tomorrow (I wrote 3 last semester), and then I graduate on June 26th. Exams here are designed to be 2 hours in length, and we're given up to 2.5 hours to write them.

In September I'm going to Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, about an hour from where I live. I'm taking BSc and I'm not sure yet what I'll major in. Likely Chemistry or something Biology-related. I have interests in going into Med school when I'm done my undergrad degree but I'm not sure yet, we'll see. :P

  9. I use different programs for different things.

Everyone from my school uses MSN, so that's what I use for general talking to friends.

I have GMail and I sometimes use Google talk to talk to my mom who is at work and doesn't have MSN.

I use the new Facebook chat thing to talk to people I have on facebook but I dont have on MSN.

I use IRC for group chats.

  10. Yup, it was Sim City 4.

    I'm guessing Trackmania Nations Forever.

yup, it's TMNF, you can't really tell the difference in that screeny between TMN and TMNF, I just said be specific so people wouldn't just say Trackmania or something.

    Anyways, your turn again :P

  11. Alright, even though the OP hasn't confirmed that I'm right, I'll post one. It's from a game that I love and play quite often. Even if you're not into racing games (which I'm not, for the most part), you should definitely give this game a try (AND it's free to download and free to play).

Be specific! This one is probably pretty easy too. If anyone plays this, add me, my username is Stephen9o3.

  12. I got a laptop not too long ago for university next year. Bought it a bit early because there was a good deal on. HP laptop, 17" HD widescreen display, 2gb ram, 320gb harddrive, AMD dual core 2.4ghz, nvidia 8400[some letter here, can't remember] graphics card for 900$ CDN.

  13. Tell me someone here besides Dadieseldude and I reads Pendragon. Ninth book just came out last month, second to last in the series. I'm going to have a hard time getting it out of my head for a while.

Wow, I read Pendragon years and years ago. I remember Black Water coming out, and buying it and reading it, but I never read any of them after that. I didn't even realize he was still writing them. To be honest, I can't even remember what the books are about, but I did enjoy reading them way back when.

Right now I'm on the 2nd of the 6 book Dune series. I didn't find the first book as amazing as everyone claims it to be, but I did enjoy it. I'm half way through the second and it's not really keeping my interest. Right now I'm debating whether or not to read anymore after this one. Maybe I'll have a better idea once I get through the book. Anyone ever read the Dune books?
