I think Jagex should make it so that you press /t for tell, or /y for yell or /s for say like in WoW. It would be so much easier, so i wouldnt have to click my friends name everytime. and when you type one slash command it sticks till you change it.

yeah a choice would be nice, cuz Guild Wars has a choice too. And since the Arrow keys are taken, then you would probably use the WASD keys, and then it would become that you would have to press "enter" before typing text, so it wouldnt be too much of a drastic change.

yeah, but the method of moving around is so tiring, so if it is like other MMos it wont be as boring and repetitive. I mean, isnt it easier to push keys, than click all the time, and castle wars and other PVPing will be easier too, because you can move more frequently. And it isnt like i want it to be like other MMos its just way boring!

I think the movement system instead of clicking everywhere, should be changed to either the arrow keys, or the WASD keys, like most other MMOs.

look i see my idea is hated by all players, but the reason u are content with it is because u like it, but to make everybody happy, i propose that it combines the old system, with a new one. all my ideas and the ideas of others are rejected all the time, but the fact that i tried is enough to me. and i see it is rejected. it was only a suggestion, and i never said the system was horrible i just meant that there are areas of interest that could use some tweaks. and the caps thing, it was broken and now it isn't.

back to one topic said earlier, about RS3, when is it coming? i mean have any of you heard of it lately? ive been gone for a LONG time getting back to my life, and recently ventured back into the area of online gaming wiyth WoW, and my account lost its time from my prepaid card, and i came to RS for a little down time.

ok, my issue with this issue is that the leveling system does not, for example, let somebody level up all together, such as in WoW or D&D wher your stats go up as your Actual level does. So, in conclusion, im sugesting that Jagex change it so that you can level, and then spend your points in stats as you level, but such skills as mining and such will level as usual. Its just that the strength, defense, attack, and health stats maybe could be changed so that you spend stats in those areas with points earned upon leveling.

I din't mean this when i started the topic, just a suggestion towards JAgex. i meant that the system is good but a couple of tweaks to it would increase the play value for people that get bored because they have only a little amount of time on the computer and can never get anywhere with there stats.

Yeah That makes sense too, Runescape does have more realistic features than other games.

I guess your right, but not so much as all of the stats would be redesigned, just the attck, defense, strength, and hitpoints. I guess if anything, it would be more like Diablo 2.

Sorry about the caps lock, my keyboard was broken. I like the level-up system that Jagex Ltd. has generated, but....uhm how should i say this? The levelup sytem is great, but i wish it was a little bit easier for people to level. One of my friends hates this game, but likes Guld Wars, and i cant seem to get him to play it. I asked him why?, and he said that it was because of the stat system they use. I agree it is a very well written ( meaning coded) system, but i want him to play it with me 'cuz he lives all the way in MN, and i see him maybe twice a year. I don't care if it changes, or stays the same but it wouldn't bother me either way.

A NEW LEVEL-UP SYSTEM, MAYBE BASED ON EXP. GATHERED FROM KILLING MONSTRES, AND THEN YOU SPEND IT ON INDIVIDUAL POINTS FOR ATTACK, STRENGTH, DEFENCE, HITPOINTS, AND ARCHER ( WHICH COULD BE CHANGED INTO ACCURACY). AND THEN YOU CAN LEVEL UP MISC. SKILLS LIKE MINING AND SMITHING, ETC. LIKE IN WOW'S LEVEL-UP SYSTEM. THIS IS A REALLY GOOD IDEA TO ME AND MY FRIENDS, 'CUZ WE ALL LIKE TO PLAY WOW ALSO, BUT WE CANT REALLY GRASP THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE STAT SYSTEM ON RUNESCAPE NOW.
