  1. Yuck. Being the self respecting metal fanatic that I am, I'm saddened by what I see being recommended here. Most aren't metal, and when they are they are mostley garbage. Thread maker: It seems you are into the the new style of german power metal. That's cool, although I dont really like it. If you like bands such as those, though, you need to check out the undisputed masters of their school: Helloween. They arguably started that sound with Keepers of the Seven keys Pt 1 and made a master piece with pt II. Download 'I Want Out' 'Keeper Of The Seven Keys' 'Halloween' and say... 'Victim of Fate'. Those songs will give you an idea of how power metal should be played. Also, if you like the more progressive stuff check out the masters of 'prog power metal': Fates Warning. Their albums 'The Spectre Within', 'Awaken The Guardian' and 'No Exit' are all classics, not to mention top quality. They'd blow stratovarius out of the water any day. Other mentions: Grave Digger - Rebellion, Running Wild - Riding The Storm. Hell, ill give you my email and we shall talk further! You're on the right track dude, keep on the metal path! There's nothing better.
