  1. Tried using the Ardougne cape (hard / elite) with the gloves of silence? I do not have the elite ardougne cloak. This could even improve the ratings i have given. Also try and get a 2/3/4 x 100 sample on the succes rate. Really curious about larger numbers. Each test contains 10 minutes of pickpocketing in which you get 150-200 tries. So I think this question is allready answered :-) Also, after a while, can we assume the bars / ores you get from thieving is more then sufficient to bribe the guards? The wealth gained with 10 minutes of pickpocketing exceeds the costs for bribes big time. I have had runs of 10 minutes in which i gained 150k + on profit. This, however, is dependent on the amount of runite ore/bar you get. But even in 'unlucky' runs you gain a minimum of 20k in 10 minutes.
  2. If you don't mind taking a few hours longer to get to lvl 99 I recommend to pickpocket the dwarf traders as soon as you can (lvl 91). Otherwise it would be best from lvl 95+. About the loot: I have one loot catalogued. This is stacked from 18 (could be one more or less) x 10 minutes of pickpocketing at lvl 94-95. 52,400 coins 98 tin ore 111 copper ore 122 bronze bar 142 iron ore 114 iron bar 35 coal ore 66 steel bar 52 mithril ore 32 mithril bar 24 adamantite ore 16 adamantite bar 11 runite ore 14 runite bar Some other tips for this method: - When getting an assignment from the company-director (to bribe the floor guards) he will ask you to deliver a certain amounts of bars to him. This is either bronze, iron, steel, silver, gold or mithril. The number of bars ranges from 2-4. - When completing the assignment you will get 10 minutes time to pickpocket the dwarf traders without any intervention of the floor guards. Besides that the director will also pay you a small amount of money for the delivered bars. It turns out that gold bars sell really well (around 350gp each). However, steel and mithril bars will not give you that much. - If you don't like the assignment, than click on the director again before you have accepted the assignment. This will give you another assignment. Continue this untill you get the assignment you really like. - The tradefloor guards can hit hard and fast. If stunned they can hit up to 500 damage before you can run. So it is adviced to wear some protective armour and to keep a good eye at your lifepoints.
  3. Yes, each test is 10 minutes of pickpocketing.
  4. I have been pickpocketing the dwarf traders (556,5 xp) for some time now. I counted the times getting caught and being succesfull. At level 91 thieving I had an average succesrate of 30%. The range was between 24% and 34%. The number of tests were 18. Average XP = 24k, Minimum 18k, Maximum 29k. At level 93 thieving I had an average succesrate of 32%. The range was between 27% and 37%. The number of tests were 21. Average XP = 27k, Minimum 20k, Maximum 34k. At level 95 thieving I had an average succesrate of 34%. The range was between 29% and 41%. The number of tests were 25. Average XP = 29k, Minimum 24k, Maximum 39k. At level 97 thieving I had an average succesrate of 38%. The range was between 33% and 45%. The number of tests were 19. Average XP = 32k, Minimum 25k, Maximum 43k The mentioned loot on the website is not complete. They give all the smithing ores and bars (noted), so only not gold and silver. Iron bar, iron ore and bronze bar are the most common loot. Gloves of silence really do make a difference here. Without them you will find it hard to reach the minimum amount of XP. Compared to the best way of levelling, Pyramid Plunder, this method comes very close to the amount of xp. In a run of 5 minutes PP i get on average 21k xp. So 10 minutes would give me 42k xp. Pickpocketing dwarf traders (see above) will give that xp in 10 min time. The time for restarting (2x PP and 1x getting bribe for the dwarf traders) is about the same. So why do i prefer pickpocketing dwarftraders? Because of the loot i get. In 2,5 hours time I got over 500k of loot from the dwarftraders. From PP you will not get any, unless you go for a quick run to exchange your artefacts. However, the reward is not even close to the dwarf traders and takes extra time, so less xp per hour. Well, I hope this will be useful for other players.
