F2P Guide to Making Money A common question that many ppl ask me is ," How did you make so much money? Wow, full rune! Are you a member?" Well, full rune isn't much to me, nor it is much to ppl my lvl, and im only lvl 68, and non-member! So i wrote this post to show these ppl how to make money while in f2p. Look at your skills. Almost every one of them can make you money. But first u need to know what the shopping worlds are: world 1, 17, 37, and last year it was 1, 29, and 32. They have changed, but basically go to a world that is often full. After u go to a shopping world, u can begin to sell your wares at varrok ( sometimes somewhere else ). Trade ppl who are buying the item u want to sell, or say, selling " whatever u want to sell, then the amount of money each, then your name ". The trade ppl who are buying method is best. In varrok they buy and sell misc at banks and central, yew logs at right of west bank, rune stuff at left of west bank, trimmed armor, god armor, and discontinued items behind the bank. Back to skills. Moneymaking is in almost every skill if u look at it: Combat: 1. For at least lvl 30. lvl 30-50 bring food. 50 and up u dont need food. Kill hill giants ( lvl 28 ) in edgeville dungeon for big bones, and go to shopping world west bank of varrok to sell for 350 each. To get in edgeville dungeon you need brass key. to get brass key go to edgeville, go in the old building and fnd a trapdoor. Go downstairs and keep going south, past all the monsters till u see a place with zombies. take the brass key in there. Since they respawn, take as many as you like. On your south is the giants and a ladder. go up the ladder and u will find yourself west of varrok. Use brass key with door and the next time u want to go and kill giants, go there again and kill as many as u want, and get big bones. Go up the ladder again and deposit into bank. Once you get the amount you want, sell in shopping world for 350 ea. 2. This is the best one for new players. East of Lumbridge is a place with cows and calfs. Kill them for cowhides and/or get them free on the ground. Go past the gate a little south of there to go to al-karid to deposit into bank. Go to shopping world al karid bank when you have enough and sell the hides for 100 ea. 3. Good drops in f2p are bad sellers, but you can kill greater and lesser demons for rune items. Good luck finding a good drop though. Lesser demons ( lvl 82, found in karajama volcano pits and deep wilderness ) drop rune med helms worth 10k each, and greater demons ( lvl 92, found in Demonic Ruins in lvl 45 wilderness ) can drop rune full helms ( worth 30k ) and rune mace ( very unpopular weapon, hard to find someone to buy ). Ways 1 and 2 for combat are better than this one. NOTE: Pking is not a good money making way. A lot a people teleport, run away, or are 1-4 itemers. Most likely you will get nothing from a pking trip, unless you are lucky or you have a good clan. I am a pker, but I pk mainly for the fun. Runecraft: 1. Craft runes. Air runes: 20 ea Mind runes: 15 ea Elemental runes ( not including air ): 10 ea Tiaras are recommended, since you can make more runes and they wonÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t take up inventory space. Crafting ( with a little magic ): You could make and enchant amulets and sell them. Amulet of magic: 1k Amulet of defence: 500 gp Amulet of strength: 5k Amulet of power: 10k Mining: Mine iron and sell for 100 ea. Mine coal and sell for 150-200 ea. Mine rune essence and sell for 30 ea. Sell ores at falador shopping world east bank, not varrok. Sell rune essence at varrok east bank shopping world. Smithing: Sell steel bars for 500-600 ea. Sell stuff up to mithril to people for money. Full mithril=15k Full adamant=30k Rune dagger=5k Rune axe=15k rune med=10k Rune scimitar=30k Rune long=25k rune full helm=30k rune battleaxe=50k Rune chain=40k rune kite=45k rune two hander=50k Rune legs=50k Rune platebody=60k Fishing: Catch lobsters and cook. Sell for 250 each. Catch swordfish and cook. sell for 300 each. Cooking: Catch lobsters and cook. Sell for 250 each. Catch swordfish and cook. sell for 300 each. Firemaking: Obviously no money from firemaking lol. :lol: Woodcutting: This is the best one, in my opinion. Cut yew trees and sell the logs for 280 each ( It was 300 each, but the price has dropped for some reason. I suspect the mass ban may be involved. ) It takes long and very boring hours to train your woodcutting level to 60, but its worth it. Train on willows and sell willow logs for 30 ea in Draynor bank shopping world, until your woodcutting reaches 60. Then cut yews in edgeville, behind varrok castle, or lumbridge forest ( I prefer lumbridge forest ). Notice it takes long, so you may want to train your woodcutting a little more on willows first. Sell yew logs in shopping world to the right of varrok west bank. Other: Merchanting: Stay in shopping world the whole time for this. Buy things low, sell them higher. You need money to make more money when you merchant. Things to merchant include: Rune items: Rune axe=15k ( easiest to merchant. Buy a lot in varrok for 15k, and sell them in draynor for 20k. 5k profit for each. ) rune med=10k Rune scimmy=30k Rune long=25k rune full helm=30k rune battleaxe=50k Rune chain=40k rune kite=45k rune two handers=50k Rune legs=50k Rune platebody=60k Buy yews for 250 ea and sell for 280 ea ( 30 gp profit for each ). Buy big bones for 200-300 ea and sell for 350 ea. Buy expensive things like trimmed armor, saradomin helms and sell for higher. Bone yard: You can get free big bones in the bones yard in the wilderness. Do you know the place where a lot of people battle in the lvl 1 varrok wilderness? Go north from there until u see lava ( chaos temple ). Circle to the west till you see the entrance of the temple. From the entrance to north till the lvl 32 wilderness. You should see a place with a LOT of bones, and lvl 22 aggressive skeletons. Do NOT bring anything, unless u want to bring 3 or 4 pieces of armor and you are not going to attack anyone. Get full inventory of big bones, then go back to varrok and deposit them in bank. Repeat as desired then sell for 350 each. Karajama: This is a bad and slow way to make money, but I will tell you anyway. Go to karajama, and talk to Luthas. Get a job from him, and get bananas from the trees to the right and put them in the crate next to his house. Every 10 bananas talk to him, and he will pay you 30 gp. Do not beg to get money, and do not scam. Begging annoys your victims ( not a joke ) and you did not use the time to earn it, so you donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t deserve it.
