The best way to do it is to attack them at the troll camp just outside of the entrance to the troll stronghold (plenty safe spots).

You get 350% xp if you bank it. You could also sell 5 bones and altar 2. You'd get same xp as burying, except you also get money from selling the bones :geek:

I find it funny how you find it too big of a hassle to bank expensive 2k dragon bones, yet you bank those worthless 500gp big bones.
because the bank in warriors guild is 2 seconds away?

70 pray ,is really usefull... If you want to get some really big money (godwars dungeon bosses) you need 70 prayer.
Im banking big bones from cyclops right now and ill keep that in mind. why 70 btw

I don't get profit if i take the bones back and bury them on an altar.
And i dont care about prayer, its good where its at right now.
And i got a lot of money off of dhides :D

I got from lev 67-74 with this and you dont really lose much money.

I would slay until you are 55 slayer so you can use broads, as they are very powerful, then kill spiders in stronghold for quick training at minimal cost or fires/aviansies for still relatively quick training a nice or really nice gain.
The broad bolts are worth it very much, I would never go a day without them.
Oh, and rune crossbow>Mage short. Always. Ignore the slow speed, the huge accuracy and power pwns anything.
Im doing slayer right now and i sold all my arrows but iron =P Guess i did good.
48 iron drag task and im gonna emerald bolt them i think.

rune xbow + emerald bolts maybe... idk if you never been now is as good of a time if any, or you can just burthrope it and take a hit to slayer points.
If you want to save that till you get a higher ranging level (which i wouldn't blame you if you did) I think yaks or ogres will be fine, but i got to 70 range with slayer tasks and then to 80 with dust devils and the occasional slayer task (never got a chain if you wonder).
ya i wasted about 250k i think for only 2 levels lol...

Bronze arrows? Mith would be a better option. Or even addy, as ankous drop plenty of them.
You should only use cheap ammunition at places where you won't get much drops. In many cases (fire giants, etc.) using better ammo is actually more cost effective than cheap ammo.
I sold everything but iron arrows :P. for a whip
But i have knives and bolts so ill use those till i make some money off my task or ankous then ill probably buy some arrows.

Ranging them is the easiest way, as long as your 70+, bring ruby bolts AND diamond, with a rcb, dont take a cannon, bring lots of antifire potions and like 6 sharks (incase you forget to drink the potion) make sure to bring the coins ect.
What about emerald bolts?
thats what i was gonna do. I have about 100+emeralds and they're pretty cheap so i might just buy them.
But what should i do with my 1k mith bolts i bought? :S

Keep them both, sell the hides to buy more bones. Pretty obvious really.
Why would i want to waste money to buy bones?
To level up prayer. Duh.
And you should try farming. It's great money once you can plant ranarrs.
I dont rlly wanna lev up prayer tho. its good at 52. ill just bury bones as i get them.
I prolly should because i could do that then wait for em to grow and do quests. How can I start it and how should i start it and how much money is it gonna cost? Cause i sold about 1m worth of stuff and im bout to buy a whip soon so ill basically have around 100-200k =P

Hey guys, my range is now 67-bout to be 68
Right now im doin a slayer task of greaters and im using cbow/knives with cannon.
Can you guys give me some good range methods on how to level it up to 80 faster?
