  1. Hmmm... I have 3 brothers which play Runescape, and I have give them stuff, recieved stuff, and played alongside them for over a year, and nothing bad has come of it... yet. I myself tend to follow the rules "to the letter", but I do agree completely with this article. However, I feel that using foreign language in names should be O.K - everywhere. I have had lots of trouble in the past thinking up names, so I reverted to what little German I knew. Thus: Hochheiligen (High holy / Sacred) Himmel Engel (Heaven/Sky Angel) Himmlischer (Heavenly) Klostermonch (Monastry Monk) I also have a new one called Liogris (no meaning I know). So - different languages bring diversity to Runescape. Plus, what happens when you run out of English names? Plus, if you don't like foreign names, how can you stand things like 0000100 or other names which are just collections of letters?
  2. I thought the article was saying that merchanting was O.K, but scamming wasn't... I'm confused... :?
  3. Well, "Goodbye!" human race. We stop the flow of evolution all over, by letting those with weak traits who would normally die live. We change normal evolution and make it to what we want - via selective breeding, amongst other things. We aren't opposed to English evolving and growing. We're opposed to people who can do better doing worse - which is making things harder to do.
  4. I have to agree. I often find myself decoding things, and I always try to type in the best English, unless I'm really in a hurry. Although I do use "u" or abbreviations like "ty" occasionly, I do it out of watching others do it, and it frankly confuses me. I can't understand this "l33t" buisness... why on earth substitute numbers for letters? Is a 3 an "E"? A 4 an "A"? Mind you, I tend not to insert complicated words into sentences. But I do have quite a wide vocabulary. Felicitations. Deem the article floccinaucinihilipilificatious if you wish. But then you are simply degenerating the English language. I actually hope you get pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
