You could ask and see whats up with it, but i wouldnt be surprised if they dont answer because it doesnt seem like that big a deal.

definitly stick with iron bars and forge them into the best armor you can make until you get to steel if your looking for exp. of you want money stick with iron until about 40 or so smithing it doesnt matter what you make with your bars, each bar or iron give the same exp

i wouldnt worry about too much if i were you. its probably just a bug in the hiscores
