Albeit Runescape can be played at 56k and is written from a Java based language, I think it takes up slightly more resources than a web page. By slightly, I mean a lot. Trust me, 99% of the time it's something user end that causes the lag. maybe. but most of the time it is fine for me and I have a 2.2mb connection with only my internet running. And most the people on that world were getting it too.

The lag just killed me :| I went into the aybss to get a large pouch. Got disconnected and lost 100 deaths,500 waters,500 earths,50natures and rune legs. :(
