  1. 1. Play FoG to get air-crafting gloves, that'd cut your trips by half.

Some people may do math and say it is not worth the time, well, TBH, maybe they are not good enough at FoG tactics. At my current ranking of FoG at 3.5K I only lost 6 games, and 2 of them were because of d/c. So... I know what I'm doing and I know how fast it'd be to get 75 tokens.

    2. You can buy Ess at 36-40ea, and make 6 airs out of each, thats 6*15 = 90ea outcome.

Use that profit to buy Earth Talisman (Earth, not Body cos I found Earth has a better GP/XP ratio), and boost your RC a bit.

In these 2 ways, I bet you can get 66 RC much sooner than you expected.

  2. Your best bet for training prayer would be to just bury the bones at the chaos alter in wildy level 13 since by the time you get enough money to obtain enough big bones, you'll be done. Also, buying big bones and burying them isn't practical. You might as well buy regular bones since they are so much cheaper and 3 regular bones > 1 big bone.

If your so bent on it, mining would be your best option.

Thank you. That's a very helpful perspective. Um, could you tell me the amount of bones respawn at Chaos Alter and the average respawn time? Are there any Big Bones?

And thanks to akballer47. What you just said is exactly how I trained my RC and WC. Yeah, Remmington is great, especially after the macroer-nurfed update.

So I'm thinking of both... Pure bone picking could be extremely boring IMO... except those bones respawn really fast! \'

    In terms of Profit:

Cockroach Soldiers (Death, Law, Addy ore noted, 2 rune items)> Ankous (Law, Ess, Mith ore noted) > Lessers (Death, Chaos, Fire, 1 rune item)

    In terms of Efficiency:

Lessers (Low def) > Ankous (medium def) > Cockroach Soldiers (High def)

    P.S.

If you range, ankous and lessers are both great, cockroach soldiers is a no-no.

If you mage, lessers are definetly the best, while ankous are slightly slower, and cockroach soldier is impossible.

In terms of Competition, both ankous and lessers are in non-multi area, which means more waiting if crowded but no interference in looting; cockroach soldier is in a multi-combat area, which means no waiting but there could be noobish looting interference.

In conclusion, if I were you, I'd go for Lessers in less crowded hours, and ankous in crowded hours.

    [/hide]

You forgot to put death runes and adamant arrows that ankou seem to drop a ton of. Lessers really are bad money, i could go for 200 kills before i get a rune med helmet. Same with cockroaches, i was f2p and it was a pain, they hit hard too even when you have full rune. Theres also a room in the SoS purely with ankou, no ghosts and theres about 7? respawns.

EDIT: And if you choose ankou, attack the level 75 ones, the 80s don't drop death runes.

Thank you very much. Yeah, I missed addy arrows from ankous. Edited.

As for Death Rune, I don't know. I trained Range at ankous a lot (that's how I got my current range level of 94), and I didn't get even 1 Death Rune from them. Maybe I just trained at the wrong ankous?

  5. Your advice is deeply appreciated.

So, I need 9.8M badly to reach my prayer goal (to buy big bones). Killing giants for bones is not an option cos my melee training is done, and I'm tired of waiting and competing.

I have so so non-combat skills that can get me GP, what I need is your advice on what to do and how to do it fast.

Here are my current non-combat skills: (F2P only)

    Woodcutting 81

    Mining 80

    Fishing 76

I have a mining goal of 85, but it is not necessary to be accomplished at this moment.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

  6. I've read some rants about "useless" random events after you get all the emotes and outfits, so just to be quick, I have a little wild thought here. Wonder if it interests you.

The idea come from the fishing random - evil bob's re-cooking fish, and you get some fishing XP. I suppose XP is always a nice reward, and never "useless".

So, this is what I'm thinking:

How about they add some relative XP reward to the random event after you have all the emotes and outfits?

    - Camo: this random is about physical exercise... So what about 500 GP and some HP XP after you have full camo?

    - Leo's Grave Digger: this random is about getting the R.I.P.s in right places... So what about 500 GP and some Prayer XP after you have all zombie emotes and full zombie?

    - Lederhosen (Freaky Forester): this random is about hunting the right bird... So what about 500 GP and some Hunting XP after you have full Lederhosen? (This XP reward is P2P only)

    - Mime: this random is about copying others outfit and emote (impersonation)... since there's a mask, somewhat related to Thieving. So what about 500 GP and some Thieving XP after you have all mime emotes and full mime? (This XP reward is P2P only)

Um, these are the F2P outfit randoms (except Frog Token). Since I'm an all time F2Per, I don't know if there's any similar P2P randoms. If there is anything I missed, please add at your interest.

Thanks for your time, and your suggestions would be appreciated.

  7. OK. Since the huge graphic update has taken place and it says that Lumbridge had a nice make-over, I took a quick trip and found the following with surprise:

    1. F2Pers can "enter" some places in members world now - not for real but from above.

By talking to 2 NPCs in the Gonomecopter (hope I didn't spell wrong) airport, which is inside the Cow Field behind the Lumby Mill, you can select a "ticket" for free and take a ride in the Gonomecopter...

Then you will be in the member area you chose... Um, not on the ground but from above. WOW!

    2. Inside the above airport, there's a special General Store and some Bank Deposit Box that F2Pers can use.

The General Store sells Pie Dish, Redberry, and Buckets, Jugs filled with water (Main Stock). The mill and the grain field is just a few steps south, AND, the best of all, a bank deposit box is just a few steps beside!

What does that tell you? \'

Are these new findings for my fellow F2Pers? Or is it just me being out-of-date?

  8. or people could jsut wait for jagex to fix the bug  you really think they did that on purpose?

I seriously hope not. It doesn't make any sense to me.

BTW - it doesn't affect me cos I do not have a Zammy set. However, something else does...

My favorite item was Strength Amulet (t) - it looked like a ruby cross with golden edge before the update, now it looks just like a smaller "normal str ammy". Gosh... So I sold it to GE right after the update.

  9. I'm so shock to see my red helm trims on Normal Rune Full Helm.

Then I saw so many other guys, from Bronze to Rune, red trims on full helm everywhere (except for girls).

I mean, what is this all about? What would happen to the price of Zammy full helm, Zammy set, and other Zammy parts?

Maybe the Zammy full helm and set price will crash, while other parts will go up since people can wear Zammy Platebody, Platelegs, Kiteshield, plus a NORMAL Rune Full to "make" it full Zammy?

    OMG...

  10. I tried swordie fishing at Fishing Level 70, it was slow...

I started swordie fishing again at Fishing Level 78, it was acceptable.

If you want fast training food collecting, fish Lobs.

If you want fast fishing exp at high fishing level (75+ I'd say), but still getting food for yourself, use Harpoon. Dropping tuna and banking swordies give you more fishing xp per trip.

  11. 1 suggestion about above stats listed in the guide:

When (Range * 1.5) = Attack + Strength, you will not get extra combat level from either side.

    So, the best distribution is:

    Range 70 / Strength 65 / Attack 40

    Range 77 / Strength 75 / Attack 40

    Range 83 / Strength 84 / Attack 40

    Range 90 / Strength 95 / Attack 40

    ......

And also, for a hybrid pure, this distribution gives you biggest space to increase HP at that combat level.

    Hope it helps.

  12. i see. so the most educated guess would be after i cast like 1k and re-calculate the average damage

ask a fortune teller the following...

"EXACTLY how much Damage do you see me doing if i use 10k Fire Strikes...how much total damage will i wind up doing after all of those spells?"

Wait for her to reply to your question...

Then when she gives you the exact answer as to your total damage 10k spells will do...

Multiply that number by 1.33 and you will have your total exp gained for hit points

Seriously though its impossible to know how much damage you will deal before doing it <.<

  13. E.g.

    Current Magic Level: 61

Equip: Blue Wiz Hat / Top, Magic Amulet, Elemental Staff

If I'm going to cast 10K Fire Strike (Max hit 8), how much HP experience I gonna get?

I calculate it as Average hit 4, multiply by 10k, that's 40k Damage I gonna do.

    40K * 1.33 = 53,200 (that's the estimated HP experience I will get)

How correct is this? Can anyone help? :-k

  14. From the idea of Air Running in World 16, I'm thinking about some kind of "F2P Lobs Running", not sure if it'll work...

Fishers Inventory: Lob Pot, Noted Lobs, Lots of GP, 25 Empty Slots for Lobs.

Runner Inventory: 25 Noted Lobs, GP

Since Raw Lobs are at 220-250ea in bulk (correct me if i'm wrong), Fisher here could probably spare 50% of that just for getting a runner and speed up. So let's say Fisher pays 100ea for every noted, that's 25*100 per load, a total of 2.5K. The running can work like this:

Fisher says: "Open 2.5K!", Runner and Fisher trades

Runner puts on -> 25 noted lobs (raw)

Fisher puts on -> 25 lobs (raw) and 2.5K GP

Runner travels back, bank and withdraw raw lobs in notes

    How does that sound? O:)

  15. Thanks in advance. That would be really helpful. =]

There is a safespot for the Ankous, first area with them. They might chase you around the barrier, however... it's gonna be pretty freakin' hard to do it without dying.

didn't really get it... poor me.

any possibility you could snap a screenshot and post it please? thanks a lot :)

I'm stuck off RuneScape for awhile (:(), but I'll do it as soon as I can unless someone gets it first. :)
