I sided on the "good" side, turned the valves properly and killed the Alomone guy. He never drops the armor though. What gives?

I am at the part with the 9 panel door (I was able to get thru the 4 panel puzzle). What combination do I need to use to get the 9 panels to show up right to unlock the door?
