  1. If they do this I will seriously consider haning up my RS coat. This is something that I don't say lightly. After about 3.5 years of playing RS, I saw it getting better and better. Some of the updates were controversial but we saw in the end they didn't do much to what we loved, this will. JaGeX is not taking this problem with a scalpel, but a clunky axe. JaGeX, please, don't do it.

  2. ZMI is up there, image spending two years getting 99 RC the hard way. Abyss, alone, 16k an hour. Than a new method comes out, still make some money off it, and get about 30k an hour. That makes about one year of work in vain. To me ZMI will always be the worst update in history.

  3. The only way to discern this information would be to read your e-mails, which is illegal, so yeh. Unless everyone but me has a folder with all their personal information in it that is sent to these people every time an internet connection is detected. Or its magic.
*Deletes file on computer* Ok back, Yeah, I think that site is a bunch of BS. There is no way to tell that information from the IP.
  4. I don't much care for either side of this arguement, for I'm as able to do what they are. But I do favour a side.

Imagine this, you've just spent 3 years training to level 120 or another similar combat level, you're unbelievably proud of what is a great achievment. Just as you hit you're peak of what you've achieved, Pest control comes out, and within 3 months there are people equal to your level that before could have been a level 60 in rune and a d long 3 months ago. Now just imagine, wouldn't you be frustrated with people casting shadow over what you've done when they have done so little themselves? Of course, you never had the oportunity to PC.

Of course, all's fair in love and war, and one should be as oportunistic as possible if they want to acheive the peak of what they are doing.

As for pures, I have nothing against the ideas of pures enough so for me to dislike the people that make them. If people want to spend hundreds of hours to get a slight advantage over me in just one small part of the game, I'm not going to go out of my way to show them how pointless they're efforts are, because you really do need those hundreds of hours of training to actually make anywhere near decent money PKing, which is one of the bigger reasons you're average will PK. But of course the fun factor justifies that for quite a few people.

The reason I lose respect for vast majority of pures is the average attitude I see. I know that there are reasonible people with a IQ that's human (unlike the usual IQ of what I'd find from a cardboard box) in thw wilderness, but they are far to few to make me respect pures in general. If even 25% of pures learn to grow up, I won't say another word about them in negative. Guess we've got quite the storm to wether before the negative look on pures is gone.

yeah, or like spending 2.5 years getting 99 RC and then the month after they add this new alter, which gives twice the xp of crafting natures throught the abyss. That's quite annoying.

OT: I don't like PC because It's a waste, just train slayer at the same time. Also because I don't like combat that much to begin with. Pure, I have nothing against. Strength pures I find stupid, because they always bow to my awesome defence and can never touch me

  5. No. Runescape is a game where death means something, in most other MMORPGs when you die there's hardly any penalty.

Did you even play other mmorpgs? Deaths do mean something. Usually, when you die you lose exp. When you are a high level, dieing once often means losing hours of exp.

Umm, I have. I have played WoW(hated it) and you don't really lose anything dying, just walk back to your body and get back into the fray.
  6. I've learned that every living thing carries the left half of a dragon square shield.

I've learned that almost every living thing carries gold coins

I've learned that chinchompas will never learn

I've learned it is impossible to craft a bow made out of yew until I have crafted over 20,000 bows made of maple

I've learned that despite having mined several thousand iron and coal ores, I won't have the skill to mine runite ore until I mine 100,000 more

I've learned I can pay a merchant $10,000 for a metal helmet that protects my head, or I can pay a fellow adventurer $250,000,000 for a colorful paper hat that does nothing... or $40,000,000 for a holiday-themed mask or hat that does nothing

Except let people know you're rather rich. I love my paper hat.

OT: That I can carry around 250,000,000 golden goins in my backpack and not be crushed from the weight.

  7. I saw Mod Mark appear behind the banker area in falador once, he said "oops wrong spot" then re-appeared on the other side of the booths.(caused alot of chaos)
Next time you see him, tell him I'm still looking for him. He owes me answers.

OT: All he needs to do is go cycling through the F2P north of varrock castle.

  8. RuneScape on Miniclip![/sarcasm]

    The Stronghold of Security

    That.^

Or Runecrafting which I hate but it has been helpful.

*smacks bini for hating RC* :P I think RC was the best update, that and/or TB(more sarcasm, yay)

  10. that is EXACTLY why I hate people who slay green drags and complain about getting pked. Its just why would you go into the wild if you aren't willing to die? That's just like when people got lured. It wasn't thier fault you were stupid enough to fall for it. And if you get lured, even WITH the ditch there(yes, it happens a lot), then you're even dumber. It's like stepping into a fire and expecting not to get burnt... thought I do not purposefully pk people who are doing clues.
No, but it is their fault for being a jerk. Luring is the most disgraceful thing you can do. I hate the whole "Honour Code" but I do think 3 things are out of boudes. 1) Luring 2) RC pking 3)Killing people doing clues.
  11. I think everyone looks into these things too much. Just because an NPC is wearing something, it doesn't mean that it will be released soon.
People thought that fire giants had dragon two handers. As we know, the real D2H didn't come out till far after the fire giants.

EDIT: Dang, someone beat me to it.

  12. ....

runecrafting ( can make or lose money depends on how you do it)

    ...

I...Will...Kill...You. For daring to put that honered and sacred stat in a thread about "Easy" 99's. RC is Easily the HARDEST stat to get 99, take it from someone with 99 rc. The quickest is FM, but that takes some money. The cheapest is fletching, can do for free. Once you hit 75, all you need is 600k start up money. Then trade Yew long(S) for materials.

  13. Lumbridge:

Easy: Beg a guy for 1m

Medium: Beg someone for an emote for a skill cape

Hard: Beg for a RC cape emote

Heh, I always show mine when asked.

    Seers:

Easy: Get a free run hachet off someone

Medium: Try and have a conversation with someone in bank and peek hours.

Hard: Try to sit and fletch there with: Green P hat, D-Chain, D-Legs, RC-Cape, D-Boots, Fury, DragonFire Shield, and dark gloves. Oh, and you can't get bombed with requests for "Fr33 st0ff Pl0x."
