  1. Well one of my friends in my first period class recommended this show and i have to say it is quite good. im up to episode 11 now and not bored one bit. anyone else know this show?

    Bleach is an okay anime. It looked interesting at the first look at that substitute Shinigami "taking" that girl's power out. There's some twisted plots within the same story. If you like to follow the manga, watch the SoulSociety Arc, not the Bounto (before episode 63 until now.)

    The most recent one is epidsode #103 and the fillers is about to end soon. It will catch up with the Manga storyline soon.

    I'm partially watching the show since the actions are too predictable.

    Total: 56 Movies among the list. (I added two since there were an updated list that I haven't seen.)

    I got into the maintream as well. I have seen other foreign movies of differnt category. {There's some good ones missing, but I can't recall all the movie names.}

    Some of the oringal movies {from remakes from Hollywood} are better overall.

  3. Well, you can rant the same thing with the other type and style of music.

    A lot of the popular mainstream artist aren't nessarily good singers and mucisian. The only thing that they need to worry is to get their support from their company (in other words, money goes first, not creativity.)

    You can rant in every domain for incompetent singers who has no singing skill. They can all become rich as long there's the fans supporting them.

    @the Rap topic:

    Yes, there's lots of them sounds like the same thing with similar or different beats. I can freestyle and imitate two or three rap songs with and without beats. It's also true that you need little skill to attempt to rap just to sound like the acutal artist.

    That's one reason I don't like following the mainstream {I used to listen Hardcore rap and other less known rappers.} Yes, there are still talented and creative artists among the group, but it should not be overgeneralized by the mainstream artists.

    However, there are still other rapping styles in different cultures that doesn't make the entire Rap industry horrible and unoriginal (french, spanish and asian rap for example.) There are still other subtypes and styles within the main Rap branch that does show some talents.

  4. Can you hear the system sounds {the window login/logout and peeps} at the same time?

    It might be something wrong within the system files if you can hear some part of the sounds. If your audio is totally mute, then it might be a Sound Card related problem.

  5. I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering this.

    Why do we pronounce and spell country names and language names different in English and other languages?

    For example, we say German in English, the Spanish say Alemania, but the German call it Deutschland. Why is it so different between languages? Another example, the Czech call it ÃÆââ¬Å¾Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬â¢eskÃÆÃâÃâá, but in English we say Czech. But cz isn't English, so wouldn't we say Check or Chek?

    This is repeatedly seen in several country names and language names. Like Sweden, Svarje, and a really weird one is Finnish, which is Suomi? Netherlands is Nederlands, but the language is called Dutch in English, when it's called Nederlands in Dutch (Nederlands)?

    Does this make any sense? I'm wondering why there is such a difference between names (besides words with special characters that can be replaced, like ÃÆââ¬Å¾Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬â¢eskÃÆÃâÃâá). Why don't we just call each country by it's normal name?

    It's a matter of pronociation and langauges.

    For example: Beijing. You cannot prononce it in French. There are no syllabes nor lettsr to match the right word. So, it has to be tanslated to another dialect that can be written in French such as : P̮̩̉̉kin.

    P̮̩̉̉kin is the Cantonese dialect of Beijing and you can say it and write in French.

    It's the same rule for other cities unless there's a specific name that was historically and internationnally knnown for {such as London and Londres, Gaza Bank, and many other cities that has a very different name.}

  6.

    but honeslty i think believe that you're right until proven wrong... like innocent until proven guilty...

    Sure why not, seems to work good for america. What if you were guilty until proven innocent? If you are innocent you would never be free unless you could convince the judge you were innocent. scarry :anxious:.

    Not every law system works like that. There's an opposite of that principle in some countries where you are innoncent until you're proven guilty {they are some case that you must disaprove all your guilt in order to be innoncent.}

    This will make the same problem within the same question and you "can't" prove this.

  7. I rather resize it or cut the extra edge(s) in order to fit to the frame perfectly {if you no what's the size of your frame.}

    If you really need to keep the picture intact, you can add a special resizing effect that will change size {that could fit within the frame} during the transitions.

    There are different methods to do so, but I don't know what kind of persentation you need at the first place.

  8. Does anyone have games on their graphing calculator. I have a bunch, all of which I got from friends' calculators.

    I used to have packs of those games, but I deleted them all {since I don't play them and I have stopped making them.}

    how did you get them

    By calculator transfer. Someone makes one, he'll passes around to the others.

    {Basic prgm language is enough for you to set up your own games.}

    do you think games should be allowed on graphing calculators? Personally, I think they should because they give kids something to do after they finish a test...

    You're not supposed to be playing games in a test at the first place. There were another reason where my school banned the usage of those calculators once my teachers found out that all the students cheated on those programs that answered all the exam questions.

    If you want to play games at home, then it's a different story. However at school during an exam, you should be expelled from your class.

  9. Once again, it depends what kind of songs you're singing and the music you're playing. There are different types of good singers with different styles so it is still hard to judge the best, the most prefered and your personnal preferences at the same time.

  10. That depends what song they are singing and the music style. Both male and female vocalists can be good at the same time at the same type of music, one of them is better than the other.

    My overall preference slightly tend over the female vocal...

  11. By blood, I'm chinese. However I got some weird mixture from my ancertors such as:

    Chinese, Cantonese and Taiwanese blood from my mother's side.

    Chinese, Hunanese, thailandese and Assimilated Chinese Mongol{mostly hunnic descendant from the last family book I've read} from my father's side.

    By religion:

    My mother's atheist and my father's more buddhist orinented. I used to follow some of the customs but I stopped a long time ago.

    By law:

    I'm french Canadian chinese. Point finale.

    I'm not culturally pure since I live in Quebec with a french Canadian and asian background all mix up together. I only use 4 of those cultures among the 6 others I haven't done anything with them {I mix up with other crowds of people I hang around with different cultures.}

  12. I guess I've been an active poster few months ago, but I've stalk on boards for a long time {I don't read the boring ones though.}

    I still don't remember when I joined the scape game and board, but I do stalk and read the threads. My post count won't go that high even if I stay for 2 years or more {at a maximun of 1 to 2.5k post depending what forum is it.}

  13. It means it's in French... If the game is trule bilingual, it should have the entire game in both languages {the CDs and manuals}. If it's one language only, you'll see the title of the game in one language {in full English or in full French.}

    And yeah, that depends what game you bought and where you bought it.

    btw, you don't need to use the Word "Canuck" since not every Canadian speak french.
