Hi, I quit runescape sometime ago but still lurk TIF (love that 200m in all skils thread and all the new updates). One thing about tip its guides is that they don't give away the story to the quest. Is there any thread here/site somewhere that goes through the story with the quests? after half beating a lot of these quest lines it'd be nice to actually read what happens in the game in all these new quests. (along with all the quests I could never complete because of my levels)

If it was activision we would have microtransactions by now in RS.
The sad thing is that Jagexjust figured this out with war of legends, and sadly enough people have bought into it that its going well.
I played war of legends for several months (and loved the very basic game and the community) but finally quit because it was just taking too much time, and the fact that I hated how people with money could buy their way through the game. (along with many other stupid things jagex did with that game)Besides publishing RuneScape and casual games through the FunOrb portal, Jagex is also releasing titles such as War of Legends, which is "125 percent over target on revenues," according to Gerhard.I think, with the way war of legends has gone, that jagex will probably have some form of microtransacttion in stellar dawn.

Ugh Played for like an hour with 3 (or maybe 4) others, had all but one of them quit right away, me and the other dude played until the boss, until we had no food left and kept trying to suicide it, until then it healed every time it hit half health. had to quit didnt even get any exp, it was a floor 3.
I'm never playing that big a team random ever again.

I agree with the thing about no summoning, that kinda bummed me out when I tried to use a summon.
Could you take a look at my thread about turning arthur back human? http://forum.tip.it/topic/218890-kings-ransom-turning-arthur-back-into-human/ I posted it a long time ago and still haven't gotten any real response.

I sat in my house for 45 minutes with no stone. I give up >:(
the construction stones are probably the most annoying thing in this DnD
actually the constructiion stones were easy, stood by portal for 2-3 minutes first stone, exited and re-entered then stood by portal for another 2-3 minutes and got 2nd stone.
Also I got my 2 mining ones quick from the coal on miscellanea, I couldnt get my woodcutting from the maples, though i wasnt there too long.

It states in the Bestiary that "You also need to wear a Nosepeg, or a Slayer helmet to protect yourself." therefore, is it not common sense to wear one if there's a chance you're going to be attacked by one?
true but i thought that they would merely do more damage (i wasn't really thinking), maybe it should have "You also need to wear a Nosepeg, or a Slayer helmet to protect yourself, or else they will greatly drain your stats" or something to that effect.
-
it needs to be added in the abberant spectre page that they drain your stats when you get hit! i didnt notice this a few days ago when i slayed them but noticed it when i went to bloodvelds and started hitting 4s, i don't know any details about it (sorry!) but this should definitely be added to it.

Following yesterdays update to the web page login form, we have introduced two more changes to our websites.
When logging in to website features, such as the forums, we now have Extended Validation SSL certificates, which will turn the address bar green in most browsers: Extended Validation involves a rigorous checking procedure so you can be sure that data is securely transferred and that the owner of the website is who they say they are.
In addition to this, we have changed the internal addresses of some of our pages, so you may want to update your bookmarks if you have any. The old addresses will continue to work for the time being.
saw no one had posted this yet, nice little change.
If this topic already exists a mod can lock please.

Oh wow, I never even thought of that, I hated that quest so much just because I had to go through the pass so many times (especially when I messed up the tar thing at the chemists).
But I thought you had to complete catapult construction to use that ship?

"Anymore"? Was it changed sometime? I am fairly certain that I've mined a star at Isfadar or Arandar before, in the past.
I have never heard of a star there, and I checked the locations guide of a few other star clans (named below) and none of them have those spots listed as a star possible star spot.
star find: 75-76-730-59585212
ultimate star searchers: 75-76-786-59630286
team rebels: 75-76-820-59659860
stars4fun: 75-76-217-59288196
Hope this is good enough.

Hello, I'm khil01 long-time tip.it browser and long-time star hunter. In the new map for shooting stars, as far as I know (I do not hunt for wilderness stars, all the dots are correctly placed, there are however a few non-existent spots you have listed on there (I actually see now that you have these listed on the shooting star guide as well). Stars do not land at the "Arandar" and "Isfadar" mines in the gnome/piscatoris/tirannwa area.
Here's the list of landing spots from the clan chat I am a captain in (I have heard or seen stars land at all of these spots wildy, and never anywhere else):

For some reason, I never instantly clue into any drops at abby demons. I'm just cruise control there. Oh, coins, oh some runes, oh, a whip, oh a rune med.. wait did I get a whip? Mages too, I never clue into the fact boots drop when they do, it always takes me a few seconds. I guess I was angered by ring of life drops by rex too many times, and now i'm just numb to good drops. Also, strange things that drop like d meds and d spears are always a "wtf is that?" moment for me, I can never tell what they are until I click them.
Happened to me at chaos dwarves, i was just on cruise control, would automatically right click right after kill to check for anything (runes/charms) i wanted, so i was like "attack-attack-attack-kill, right-click-oh something I want! pick up-------omg!!!! i got a dragon pickaxe!!!!!" then ran out of the cave, though oh i should wield this to prove to everyone in there i just got one (and from a lvl 48 too) so i wield it, run in, get 3/4 of the way there, get hit 28 by a cannoneer, activate quick prayer, and run for my life regretting the choice to not bring a tele.

the level 48 chaos dwarves in the dwarf battlefield also drop the dragon pick. here's robertr1 and mines post on the "dragon pickaxe is finaly out" thread.
why yes the 48s do drop the dragon pickaxe, yes they do :mrgreen:after like 6 hours i finaly got mine.
So I heard the 48s drop dragon picks so I went there for 30 minutes and....
Haha you seriously got it from the 48's? Keep it quiet and here on tipit, there the only empty enemy there atm
Nope not joking I seriously got it from them, i'm still killing them for more because nobody believes me soooo why not
haha yeah while i was killing them i tried to not draw attention to myself, also in the few cannoneers kills i managed i got 1 hand cannon and 600 cannon shot
also here's the knowledge base entry for the chaos dwarf battlefield that gave me the idea of trying the regular chaos dwarves. (credit to Mechana2412 for posting this link and pointing out what the kb said on the "dragon pickaxe is finaly out" thread)
http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/cha ... attlefield
The famed dragon pickaxe can also be found by killing chaos dwarves here. It will only be obtained by the most patient and persistent of chaos dwarf fighters, but it is worth it: the dragon pickaxe has a potent special attack and is the highest level pickaxe currently in the game.

Dear Guthix! Look at the new KB article!
http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/cha ... attlefield
Apparently, Dwogres do NOT drop the Dragon Pickaxe! Apparently, it's the Chaos Dwarves that do! All that work!
This MAY mean that it's the lv 48s that noone cared about that were dropping them!
Good find!! although the dwogres may be grouped into
because they are a mxture of the chaos dwarves and ogres. The famed dragon pickaxe can also be found by killing chaos dwarves here. Obviously means they are rare, but does it mean they can be found on the regular chaos dwarves here too?
According to the info on the monsters "Chaos dwarves have twice the chance of dropping an axe." I suppose they mean "pickaxe."
full quote:
Chaos Dwarf (Level 48)Chaos dwarves like causing chaos! They are more belligerent than the Drunken Dwarf, and twice as likely to carry an axe. The chaos dwarves of Keldagrim have a slightly different origin from those in the Wilderness.
means twice as likely to carry an axe then the drunken dwarf, not a dragon pickaxe. i wish

also for when someone does the quest, could you check out my thread http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=226&t=780975 about talking to wizard crompty and turning arthur back into human?
-
on the map page for Sven the Helmsman's Cave the link to the giant bat in the bestiary is wrong.
it links to:
http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=345
when it should be:

You fight like a dairy farmer
[hide=Result]How appropriate. You fight like a cow.[/hide]
That is awesome!

Have you already finished the quest? can you confirm the part about wizard crompty saying something about using something that turns you into stone to turn arthur back into human? (i made the thread a long time ago and no ones confirmed anything)

Oh guthix no!
As someone who tried to play jagex's war of legends game, this thought fills me with great sadness.
