  1. On PC I'm sitting at 1.05M sheet on my WD and I still only do low torments because it's simply faster rift farming. Sounds like I need to build a tank for higher torments.

EDIT: Was doing some T3 on my WD and got Mask of Jeram with 81% pet damage and Zuni 3 piece set offhand dropped. All i need is boots for fetish army till dead set bonus and ill have a pet build.

  2. 2.0.6 was released today, monks got a huge buff on their main set by x30. Crafting legendary's has also been made easier as they have removed the legendary drop requirement. All old materials are now grey items worth 50k gold that can be sold to the vendor. Death's Breath, Veiled Crystals and Arcane dust are still required to craft however.

  3.

Hooked on Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls lately. Leveled a Barbarian and Wizard to 70. Still prefer my Wizard, archon build. Rifts and Bounties have breathed a lot of life back into the game.

I actually started playing Torchlight 2 like a week and a half ago and 2 days ago i switched back to Diablo for some strange reason. i have D3 on Xbox so i guess i just wanted to play something on console again. Anyway i've been doing my first Inferno playthrough using a Witch Doctor.

Man... I sucked the first few hours. So many deaths it was insane. But i think i finally found a pretty good setup. I don't die nearly as often as i used to. Think i'm getting the hang of things now.

Also realised my lack of "research" on the game has caused me to miss out on so many things that could have made my time a bit more pleasant.

And i've wasted so much money the past 2 days on crafting gear... Until i found out that it's actually not a very good idea.

Oh well you live and you learn.

I'm still learning stuff on ROS, PC version and i have almost 200hours combined on my characters. The game is insane once you start min/maxing at level 70 torments, i'm having a great time trying to find a build that is viable for torment 2-3.

  4. LFR is still intact, they're removing tier gear from LFR... Not sure how that equates to them removing it entirely.

    and

two youtube vids by mikepreachwow detailing the changes and the misconceptions to LFR in the coming expansion.

Oh, and LFR has never been legitimate raiding.. The gear is 528 if completely upgraded it is 536. The new season 15 PVP gear is 550 which is already higher and better in any PVE environment due to Mists of Pandaria's new itemization. Flex gear is 548 completely upgraded, Normal is 553/561 respectively. Normal can now be cross realmed with Oque or Openraid meaning it is now easier than ever to pug for 553/561 gear.

Blizzard will never make LFR "legitimate".

  5. Blizzard released the Pre-purchase for the next expansion Warlords of Draenor. If you pre-purchase for $49.99 you receive a level 90 character boost from level 1 that you can use as soon as you pay through the battle.net store. Those who wish to try out the game or return will be given a toon with 483 ilvl and you will be spawned on the timeless isle with artisan flying and the ability to jump strait into raiding.

  6. you should look into a second gen i7, the 2700. very nice cpu

    they're cheap now too

otherwise what games do you play?

I mainly play World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, Borderlands 2, and Civilization 5. Those games really aren't stressing my rig at all. I don't do any video editing so I really don't need a i7. I'm leaning towards getting an i5-4670k and hopefully talking my mom into building a computer during tax time so i can sell her my i5-2400, mobo, ram, and psu and ill just replace those parts until the next gpu's come out.

  7. The rig i built late 2011 is...

    NZXT M59 Case

    i5-2400 3.2ghz 3.4ghz turboboost

    Asrock z68 extreme3 gen3 motherboard

680w PSU (cant remember name off hand)

    Evga 560ti superclocked

    Evga 560ti superclocked    SLI 900mhz/2106mhz

    500gb hdd

60gb ssd for wow and d3

    Accessories.

    Razer Naga

    Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Keyboard

    Razer Nostromo Gamepad

    I couldn't live without these.

I just ordered 3 more 120mm fans im going to redo cables and work on airflow this week in preparation for upgrading possibly soon. I really want to upgrade the CPU to the new i5 with the unlocked cores so i can dabble in overclocking and ill probably pick up a evo 212 when i decide to do that.

As much as i'd love to upgrade the rest of the rig, it really isn't needed for what i play currently. I can play most AAA games with the 560's and the only other upgrades im thinking of making is 2166 ram and a better namebrand PSU.

I'll post pics when i get the fans in the mail and redo the cables.

EDIT: Holy cable management Haseo reddit.com/r/cablemanagement would have a stroke if they seen your rig. Nice components though, I'd recommend on checking out their subreddit you might get the itch to try to make yours look similar to some of those enthusiast's cable managed builds.

  8. I played it for a few hours on PC, my comp could handle the high settings with high textures but the insane textures were too much. I believe they're designed for 4gb cards. Overall, I enjoyed the gameplay and had fun. The beta is a sample of the content that will be in the game upon purchase i'm not sure people are realizing that.
