so i will be able to get the holiday item on easter and 2 weeks after it? and jagex will let us now how to get it ???? cool

i haven't played rs long enough to get a holiday item i just started playing after chistmas in 2006 so this easter is my first holiday playing rs so i was wondering how do you get the holiday items??? do you get them fomr drops from monsters or is it like a random event??? well i would be greatful if some one could help me out. thanks.
