  1. i understand what you mean, but i honestly dont want recognition i simply put that thing in as an example as wut someone could do, not to bring any fame to me and I cant help every1 by myself, thats y i made a post instead of simply "helping people" because if ten people read this, we can get 10x more done i think that you are also missing the big point behind this whole post i want people to see that little things, be it mining silver, or giving someone directions, or helping with a quest can make a big difference to someone i still ask people for help even today i ask for advice on how to train more effeciently and how to make money quickly, and most people i meet now are glad to help i wrote this because i wanted others to help people too, and im not saying that there are no helpful high level players, but i really wasnt helped very much unless i already knew the person in real life. i know from playing more in members that there are many helpful people, but i think that they are often quick to say that low levels are all greedy, they are all annoying, they all ask too many questions, and are more helpful to people their own lvl then they are to people below them. I think eventually, the longer you play the more you realize that you should help people
  2. you can help them with quests, and increase that 3k limit it may be a little more difficult now, but still, the 3k limit resets every 15 mins i believe and most low lvls dont need that much to lvl up, and at really low lvls, 3k seems like an amazing amount of money. I remember at lvl 4, or even 5, full bronze was my dream, and now i wont even bother to pick up addy things, because i really dont need them. If you think about your lower lvls, you'll realize you didnt have 100k to throw around all the time, and i never imagined i would have a mil, so a little goes a long way u can also use the new assist system, allowing them to mine their own silver there are solutions, you just have to think a little, and use what u have learned to help other people
  3. Let me just start out by saying im not asking for handouts! I have been playing Runescape for almost 4 years now, and a lot has changed. But one thing that hasnt changed is how most higher level players treat lower levels. I am only level 90, which isnt much compared to how long i have been playing, but thats just it. I play Runescape, I dont sit and grind away for that extra level. Thats why i always try to help people when they ask. I once spent a couple hours mining silver for someone i just met because they wanted to do a quest that they didnt have a high enough crafting level for. I'm not asking for recognition or thanks, all i ask is that you do the same. That is why i suggest that on the coming monday, if you happen to be on Runescape, go to a free world and look around for someone that could use some help. I dont want people to go around handing out coins or items, i want people to find serious new players and show them the ropes. I know i wouldve enjoyed my lower levels a lot more if everytime i asked something it wasnt immediatly replied with noob. I showed the game to two of my friends, and helped them through the lower levels, and now they love the game. So basically, it would be nice if u happen to be on monday and you are a high level or an experienced player, go to a free world, look around varrock and lumbridge and see how many people ask for help and are answered with "stupid noob!" and see if you can help them out. I know that if someone helped me through my lower levels i wouldve enjoyed them a lot more, and many people i know quit because they thought Runescape was stupid, because they didnt understand what to do or how to do it. And if you are a lower level player reading this, feel free to add me and pm me if u need help with a quest or simply finding something. Im glad to help, and hopefully some others will be too. I just hope the tip.it forum members are more responsive than the rs forum members, and i hope they care a little more
