I'm looking for the fastest way to train range. I was thinking of training range with cannon and crystal bow (while range praying) at dagganorths? Would this be the fastest way to lvl range? And any estimate on how many cannon balls it'd take an hour at dags? Thx everyone. matt.

money isnt really a problem, just want to get 90+ range as fast as i can, cause i have bad attention span when it comes to training, lol :wall: My mate told me to train with cannon and get 100-150k an hour xp at red spiders in deep wild or dagganorths? Would it be cheaper to train with magic short/long and like mith arrows or with crystal?

Ok here's mine. Word 78 of course \ Ahrim robes dds whip warrior ring glory ammy climbing boots As soon as the game starts I put spec on and ultimate str and ultimate reflxes, and run the yellow portal and use all my specs, which usually takes the portal to very low, or even red bar it. Then comes the time for the whip. I then go to the other portals and help out. Also I usually have ancients on, so when there's a big group of monsters I just cast a few ice bursts, no need to weild ancient staff. This way i usually get 1k+ hits. Hope that helps \

Hey everyone. I'm currently 82 range, and I want to train it to 90+. My mate suggested that I use crystal bow to train with, as it's max hit is 20, so it'd be like training with rune arrows bascially, however it's expensive, but that doesnt matter. If it's much faster i guess i might as well train with it, also anyone know anywhere really good to train range? i was thinking pest control, good for the bonus experience. Hey there everyone, My stats are currently... 85 attack 70 defence 90 strength 86hp I'm training to 94 mage and 90+ range , and will end up being about 105ish combat with 90+ hits. I was wondering is it worth getting 90 attack, for better chance to hit with dspec, cause i'll mostly be using mage/range when pking. Please reply, any advice appreciated. Matt.

yo, max hit with fire bolt for example is 12 without gaunts, with gaunts max hit is 15, hope that helped. Matt.

yeah it's a hard decison lol. I also remembered my old old pure who is 40 attack, 1 def and 54 strength, with 26 pray. My mate thinks i should get him to 60 attack, and 70 strength, then 94 mage and 90+ range, and he'd end up being around level 61 combat with about 76 hits I think. What u think, train the old mager into a tank mage with high defence and high mage and range, or the other pure, spec with dds and mage/range. Thanks Guys (and ladies). Matt.

Hi there, I was thinking about making a pure for pking but I need some advice on stats. I already have an old mage pker with stats 11 att 42 def 10 str and 66 mage, 34 hp. Was thikning about getting high defence and high mage and range. But my mate reckons i should start a new pure and get 60 attack, 70 strength, then 85 (or 94) mage and 90 range. End up being like 76 hp and 60 or so combat. Any suggestions?

Anyone know if ancient training is good at pest control is good, when a whole lot of monsters gather around? I tried training mage with ancients at bandits and then at dagganorths, but it wasnt that fast. I just need 94 mage as soon as i can, money doesnt matter.

They are called hellhounds. Also I found (back when I was interested in clues) that lessers (i used the ones below the lava maze in deep wild, were good for clues, good for ranging too, safe spots there. Hope that helps. Matt.

god, that is annoying, i think if u are running during pest control and then you are teled out that's why u run, if ur stationary i think you end up standin still on the dock, not sure if that helps but yeah :) Matt.

harpies drop quite a few fire runes, and every now and then drop chaos runes in bundles of 15 or 30, so if u want to get fire runes, and the occasional chaos runes, it's a good place to train :) Oh btw they are north east of that jungle village place on lower karamja :) need to take a lit bug lantern to hit them, not sure if u need a certain slayer lvl to kill them. I agree with the hp xp comment, but I think the man just wants to get 94 mage fast, maybe he doesnt care about the hp experience. I guess using fire bolts or blasts is the only way to get hp xp with mage, or dart, or ancients....yeah.

Tip.it's magic calculator estimates 186k fire bolts for 94 mage based off 35xp per cast, and that doesnt take into account the bonus mage xp from hits caused on the monster...so yeah. Anyone have any good information please?

Hi, i'm currently 77 magic, nearly 78, and wondering any ideas for training mage fast, i don't want to do alching too much because i would like hp xp. I currently have 193k chaos runes banked so maybe fire bolt with chaos gaunts? If u have any ideas on quicker ways to train mage (hopefully not too much clicking but yeah) it would be appreciated. Hi there, I just need to know the real xp for crumble undead. Tip.it magic skill guide says it's 49xp per cast, but the skill calculator says it's 24.5xp per cast? Anyone have an idea about this? Answers appreciated, thanks guys. Matt.

god, after over 80 lockpics and nearly 2 theiving lvls from pickin bandits, i got it lol

Hey there With desert treasure quest there is a part (for the cross) where you have to pick the lock on the chest in the bandit camp. Ok so i'm 54 theiving, and i've used around 80 lockpicks on the chest, and so far no luck, i just keep getting poisoned? Any ideas please? this is getting VERY frustrating! Matt
