You are tremendously lucky then, since double notes on that section are impossible to hit, because, like you say, it's at around 10nps.

Played it at my friend's house and...meh. The timing window is closer to Aerosmith than GH3 for HOPOs, and I think the tapping sections were really weird. The song list is ok, but, as for the hardware, everything has been rock solid. Pros: Character and Guitar curstomization, some pretty good songs, can do full band. Cons: Timing window is different from other GH games, but easy to get used to. Annoying transitions from normal to tap sections. Overall: OK game, worth buying.

My friend's getting it at 10pm tonight for some reason. I'm going to his house tomorrow to beat some songs. Hopefully he wont epically fail on drums.

Same with me. Except when I did that, it was on hard. I made the mistake of going straight to the encore without saving and the game died when I was halfway though CoP.

3 FCs tonight. Ruby (3 runs with an overstrum), Talk Dirty to Me (7 runs with an overstrum), and Bulls on Parade, which I've had at -2 for a long time, but actually managed to do with no overstrums. So obviously, my broken strumbar has been screwing me up alot. But my new one comes tomorrow, so I should be able to go back to 5-starring expert soon.

Finally 5-starred One (that took way too long, but for half the time I had a sticky strum bar). Next on my list is NotB. I've had some improvement, but I'm still 30k off of the 5-star.

Fixed my strumbar! WD-40 can do wonders Im convinced. Havent really played much, have some homework, but had a random -6 run on talk dirty to me, but I didnt go any further than that.

I downstrum on some songs, alt-strum on others. (for example, for most of One, I downstrum, hence my problem getting 5-star on that song) On Rock You Like a Hurricane, I mostly alt-strum. But thats just me. I suggest you go through the songlist and find what you like to alt-strum.

It only double strums on down-strums, but I couldn't upstrum an entire song if my life depended on it. And nice One score, by the way.

Ah. If only I could report a five star on the 8th tier to you guys. Sadly I can't, as my explorer strumbar has become old and used, and thus double strums constantly. I could put up with it, but for right now I'm not.

Impulse 5-starred last night. It was totally unexpected, I was just running through some of the bonus songs. Anyways, big quiz tomorrow and I have some homework, so I doubt I'll be playing tonight.

NotB 4-star this morning, currently working on the 5-star for One, about 30k off currently, but I need to hit the darkness riff more consistently in order to get it.

God, I love this forum...whenever I post a complaint on how long it takes for me to 5 star something, I five star it directly afterward :lol: So, first 7 tiers 5-starred, ummm....I'm now complaining about how hard it is to 5-star One, NotB, CoD, and RaBl. Lets see if that works :pray:

I'm really irritated at guitar hero right now. I've four-starred One and CoD, 5 starred CoP, and 5 starred the first 5 tiers on expert, and yet the 5 star of The Metal eludes me. I've gotten about 160k (I believe the cutoff is somewhere around 162k), and yet I cannot get a good enough round to add that 2k to me score. I must have tried 15 times last night and 10 this morning and its really bothering me. EDIT: 5 starred, and Knights of Cydonia is currently 3k away from a five star.

Just 5-starred Cult of Personality \ Wasn't even trying to either, just warming up.

I finally got to play guitar hero for the first time in 5 weeks. Predictably, I epically failed at most songs. I did manage increase my career score by a total of 2k tho, but I should be better at guitar hero soon.

So...Guitar Hero basically sucks for me right now because all lost all my related files and the entire gamee when my laptop crashed. So, now I have to rebeat every song. This is you: :lol: This is me: :evil:

have you played it? Yes, I have and I honestly don't see whats so good about it. Honestly, when I think about it, I don't get why I think its as fun as real guitar, since I play both. However, I believe that most people like it because of the satisfaction you get from beating a song.
