Well it all started about a year ago... I was playing runescape, and I was having trouble with a quest. So I prayed to the gods and presto! An angel came out of the freakin' heavens and he said "Use the site of the web known as the Tip.it, There you shall find the peace and harmony which you seek." And I was like uhh, okay, so I went on google and searched "runescape fansite" and blam! There it was, for the taking! So yeah, thats how I found tip.it

Okay, so after reading through 7 pages of posts just to make sure this wasn't repeated, here is my question. Would Duke have been such a bad person if you used RS to make RL money because say- His little sister needed surgery for a rare diesease or else she would die, and the family couldn't afford all of it... One of his friends got involved in the mafia and needed to pay back some "loans" quick or else he could end up six feet under... His big brother just got his left side torn to shreads from a roadside bomb in Iraq, the doctors can save him with no problems, but they are wondering about keeping his leg, it would cost the family a huge load of money and could burn a hole in their budget... He and his parents couldn't afford the money to pay for college. He would be the first in his family to go, his parents try to provide yet they just can't make ends meet. He needs a quick way to make a load of money, so instead of grabbing a ski mask and a glock and running to his closest bank, he just used a game... Now of course these are probably aren't true. The fact still remains, that I see these robots spewing things about breaking rules and such. Which makes sense, yet life isn't that black and white. Could these things be justifed if it was to save his little sister from death? Would you "burn in hell you rulebreaker" types be as harsh? Is it stealing? Maybe from someone sure, but what I respect Duke for is that fact that he made a mistake and he is learning from it. That is the whole reason why we have prisons, it is not for punishment, it is so these rulebreakers can learn from their mistakes and not do them again. So I do respect Duke, not for his rulebreaking actions, but for the fact that he has admitted(with help) what he has done wrong and has learned from his mistakes. Hello Tip.It community and staff, I am so glad to be apart of this community! Before I go into my questions, I want to explain this odd phenomenon which you are about to see. I stumbled over Runescape out a year and a half ago when I went to miniclips to get my fix of small java based games. I found this game and just thought I would try it out, I had no idea it was a MMORPG. So over the time, I was scammed, and backstabbed, so I never trusted anybody. None of my rl friends play this game so I have always played by myself. I very rarely talk to anyone, unless a newb asks me where to go or how to do something, in which I will explain or show them how to do it. Until recently, I stumbled over some guys playing, and we just started talking and I slowly learned that not everyone in runescape is trying to rip me off or beg for things. I had been using this GREAT site for about a year now, but I have never posted on the forums because I thought they would be as crazy as the RS forums, but they are not, they are very well regulated. Anyways, now that I have been reading lots of people talk about RS I have a bunch of questions to some terms used. Now you can laugh it up that a level 84 combat doesn't know these terms, or you can help me out, (I'm hoping most of you will help me out) so please try not to laugh so hard when you read these questions. What is a pure account? Compared to an unpure account? What is a PJ or a PJer? I know that P2P is members (me!) and F2P is non-members, however I never really bothered to understand what the terms mean. And not really runescape just trying to brush up on the old 1337 speak, what does ftw mean? Once again, try not to laugh that hard, and I did try the search button, but my questions were a little to broad and nothing or everything showed up.
