First of all, you weren't hacked. You were item scammed. You should have reported him to Jagex right away, but you only have 60 seconds after the trade to report him so it is too late now. The only thing that you can do now is move on and learn to be more careful in the future and/or learn how to report people that take advantage of you.

Nice guide, but I agree that you should only bring one weapon. The others are just waiting to be accidently high alched.

That was just a rumour, you can get a monster as soon as you have the lvl to kill it
Actually it was true with Abyssal Demon assignments but Jagex fixed this.

It also depends on how you want to attack them. The Moss Giants North-West of Ardougne are for ranging/maging as there is a protected circle and 4 Moss Giants spawn around the circle. You can melee them if you want, but if there are 4 rangers/magers in the circle, they will most likely get the giants before you. Moss Giant Island is better for melee and it is rarely crowded. And there are slice of cake spawns on the island to help heal you. Both spots are non-multi (unlike Varrock Sewers).

As for your what to wear picture, I would recommend: Tiara and Boots of Lightness and nothing else (Tiara only if you are F2P). When you are running every KG counts. If you want to wear a ring, wear a Dueling Ring and if you want to wear an Amulet, wear a Charged Glory (P2P only of course) as these allow you to teleport.

Since you said that you are a PKer, then raising your Range means more HPs without raising your Combat Level. What's not to like about that?

Only the owner of a cannon can pick a cannon up. And it's not a waste because the owner can just go to the dwarven engineer and get a free replacement. People who use cannons infrequently will do this to save inventory/bank space.

It is not considered a scam to ask for large amounts of money for an item, but it is not in the spirit of the game to over price an item.

It sounds like you have not done the Roving Elves quest. It's easier than the Underground Pass quest and you will be able to access the Elven lands. If you want a Crystal Seed to teleport to there you have to do Mournings End Part I.

If my Miscellania stash was gone, I would go to the nearest farming plot and ask the leprechaun for my 250 buckets of supercompost and sell them for some quick cash. I doubt the hacker would look there.

Since it is multi-combat, try to get a high level friend to come with you. They can help damage the Queen for you and they can grab your stuff in case you die.

The best thing you can do for questing is get 43 Prayer. Takes a while, but you can protect yourself fully from almost all the big monsters in the quests.

Bank in East Fally, grab your Air Tiara/Talisman and full inventory of Essence. Run to Air Altar, then go east to the cow pasture and load up on hides. Go to East Fally bank and repeat.

Last night I was using the Fairy Rings to go to Miscellania and that stupid Zanaris choir was following me around. Right as I was teleporting, the choir floated over my character and came with me to Miscellania!! I was trying to get them in a funny location for a screen shot, but they disappeared after about 15 seconds. Just wondering if anybody else had come across this and I wonder if you could do this to teleport other NPCs? Set an Abyssal Demon loose in Zanaris??? :twisted:

It's a great idea, but unfortunately the admins admittedly don't know what is tradeable and what is not. Currently there are 20 items up for sale and the first one on the list is a Frog Mask. I just don't see this site getting off the ground, although I wish it would.

If you have Royal Trouble done...you can get a lot of tree seeds for cheap.
Otherwise...buy however many Willow seeds you need for the level, get some supercompost if you can, plant the Willows 4 at a time and hope they grow.
Actually there is a better way to do this. Buy a bunch of baskets from a farming store and go to the cooking guild and fill a basket with appples for each willow you want to plant. Don't even waste supercompost. Stick the willow in the ground, ask the farmer nearby to watch your crops, he takes a basket of apples and you come back in 14.5 hours and you will have a fully grown, healthy willow tree.

Wander as deep into the wilderness as you can and when someone kills you, repeatedly send them messages asking them to pick up your stuff and bring it to Falador. Noobs can't live without that Brass Dagger and Wooden Shield :D

Something that I have always wondered is what "value" does Jagex place on a casket? Does it protect over anything, like say a spade? I would imagine that it has the normal 0gp value that Jagex places on non-tradable items.
