It helps more if you post your question instead of trying to get someone to PM you. People without range tanks still know information about them and their creation. And stop bumping your topic every 10 minutes.

Can't you cut the ones on Karamja with those stats or do you need to do the quest to access them.. I thought there were open ones not needed for the quest.

Buying.. the profit is that high or at least it should be.. the only time you should Graahk nats is when you can make double nats or at least that's only when I would. Other than that the cost of the other runes you craft, even if you use ZMI, should pay for the cost of ess, energy pots and familiar pouches.

The runes you craft should pay for the cost of essence and then some thus making you a profit. That's pretty much all there is to it.. it shouldn't cost anything. Its also faster to just buy the ess than use GoP... I doubt if anyone actually tried for 99 through GoP. But there have been very persistent people out there so it's possible.

Really it is your choice.. Noone has come up with solid data as to what's faster than the other.. I might test it out on some new accounts but that won't be for a long time and won't take into consideration the best training weapon in the game.

That's a good suggestion thanks.. I may just go to slayer tower and do regular Bloodvelds.. I forgot all about them. Its not that I don't want to train at the popular/best places it's that I have already been there and done that and usually it was crowded. Also the best range exp/hour doesn't really matter to me.. if it did I would of chinned it already I just want different places to switch up the atmosphere and enjoy ranging with. I will probably give cave horrors a try as I love to melee them on slayer tasks so why not range them.

On task melee is definitely better no doubts about it. Off task melee vs. range.. they are probably the same speed. As for what to wear.. here is what I wore. Well as I said I don't have the money or the will to chin since I will need my money for future 98's to complete my big goal. Range slayer really isn't my thing.. I like slayer but not ranging my tasks. Ray.. I listen to what people say when they make a post so you can't say: So far the only thing I got out of this was green drags but they get pretty crowded.. crowding is one of the things I am trying to avoid.

Well here is my predicament.. I have 97 range 99 defence... full void.. 21m access to any ranging weapon in the game but I have no idea what to range anymore. I am going for 99 minus 1k exp so 98.9 if you will.. and right now I am at a loss as for what I want to range. Here is a list of things I have already done from 96-97.5... I have done: [*:363mzzvc] Fire Giants [*:363mzzvc] Tzhaar Ket's and Xil's [*:363mzzvc] Blue Dragons [*:363mzzvc] Caged Ogres [*:363mzzvc] Aviansies [*:363mzzvc] Yaks I am looking pretty much for just fun things to range to keep me occupied on the way to 98.9 so that I don't get bored and break from RS again but then don't spend a ton of money as well. Also it would be nice to get 98.9 before August 26th as that is when my free-time gets cut down to next to nothing. Next up I am thinking of doing 200 black dragons and 3-5 hundred Irons.. just to give you an idea of where I may go. Currently I am back at Tzhaar though trying to make another 2.3m in a 9 hour period (must of been a lucky day) Is there any other fun monster out there that either yields decent exp rates with few good drops or bad exp rates (not bad like 5k/hour btw -.- ) with good drops (like blue drags)? Just a quick note things I won't do include Dusties... Slayer.. Wyverns/Mith Drags and I am not going back to Avi's.. Also I am NOT going to chin since I pretty much don't have the money nor the will. (Had to emphasize the not for all those who are slow out there.) Thanks in advance for any advice.

No trust me a cannon doesn't decide whether or not you should ditch the rune defender. If a lot of monsters are attacking you it's still more beneficial to be able to kill them faster anyways. You use a mind shield for Wyverns I thought... actually I am 99% sure you do. Not a DFS.. --------------------- Anyways, as said before DFS' are for dragon slaying, boss hunting (situational TBH) and looking pretty.. other than that they are outdone by a rune defender in every way. I say keep the DFS but use a rune defender. As far as bandos is concerned consider this... Yes yes blah blah Barrows degrades... but I honestly don't think some people can wrap their small brains around the fact that 15 hours IN COMBAT is an excruciatingly long time.. Dust Devils would probably be your best bet. Also you will get decent melee exp which is always a good bonus. Personally I prefer to kill them in Chaos Tunnels with guthans. Use the guthans to heal on the rats in the next room over.

It'd be faster and more advantageous for you to use a human butler and NOT a demon butler. If you are not already.. just thought I would throw that nugget of information into the mix. And I believe its 9 trips of anything.. if he leaves the house it counts as a trip. I could of sworn when I was doing Con he charged every 7 trips though.. maybe I am wrong but I thought it was 7.

That price for +1 off of a god coif? :| lol. ^^ No if you are serious about ranging you get VOID... not overpay for a +1 difference that really makes no difference. Just get the God Coif.

RFD is Recipe for Disaster. It's a quest. Barrows gloves would be asking a bit much with your combat stats. I would go for Addy or Rune at your level.

Best RFD gloves you can get. Period point blank. As for the rest of the gear.. I give it 2 :thumbup: up. It's pretty much what anyone with your levels could use. Also don't forget when you get higher up in combat level there will be some tasks you need to pray on.. so get a set of Initiate or Proselyte.

GET DHAROKS As for how to accumulate wealth.. your combat stats are very low to make any amount of decent money at ANY God Wars Boss.. you would probably only make enough to pay for the supplies you used. I would suggest you stick to slayer.. do that until you are 80-85+ all melee combats.. and 80 mage/range as well as 70 prayer.. Then you are ready to do most if not every boss in the game except Corp.. well maybe in a big group.

Please do not waste your time with mage void.. as far as I am concerned it is completely useless... unless Jagex revamped it don't bother. Get Ahrims Top + bottom, Farseer helm and Inf Boots. That is just about what anyone with a brain uses to mage with. If you want to try and look cute get infinity.. if you want to be cheap get mystic but personally I would just get the ahrims etc etc and be happy looking like 70% of rs's other mages.

I did red chins to 80 and as far as I am concerned it was fast enough. The profit was a good bonus. Hunter is actually the only skill I can say that efficiency can be thrown out the window once you hit 70 hunter. Red chins and Red sallies are not all that different in exp rates but in gp rates well tbh you can't compare them.. Also, if I am not mistaken, with the newer method of hunting red chins where you set your boxes up around 1 chin spawn... it really makes having 5 boxes not that much better than having 4. All it is... is 1 more box to worry about falling over. This method, also, I would assume gives faster chin rates.. (wait what do I mean assume, I KNOW it does) which means more exp than you would usually expect while hunting chins. In short I would say that you are A'okay to go ahead and hunt red chins now. Losing out on what 5-10k exp/hour but gaining anywhere from 100-250k gp I would think.. I haven't looked up the prices of chins in some time.

Well I've chinned before but it was quite some time ago (way before summoning came out.) So I can't help you to much with the familiar question. I can say that an even balance of Prayer to range would be good though. I personally preferred a stole to the fury. As for whether to get higher prayer levels I don't know if the benefits will outweigh the costs for the levels but I do know that it's never bad to have a higher prayer level. Never hurts anything.

Same, I am a toadflax man. I'd rather not see a 50k seed die even if I will turn a greater profit off of it. It's your decision really, where do your ideals lie on the risk vs. reward scale is the big question.

I did teaks on Ape Atoll for a level or so and they were good hell they were great.. even the amount of nests I was getting was ridiculously high (no rabbits foot either) I was quite amused... I would actually have to bank to clear up invent space just to be able to drop teaks at a decent amount/inv.. Then I tried the cut one drop one technique, like if you were mining granite, and let me say that gives you an enormous amount of exp boost over cutting an invent and dropping. But all in all I ended up at Barb Outpost cutting and banking willows there. I finished with 42k willows logs which probably.. hell they definitely won't sell.. so I plan to just use them for junk trades if I ever make any. If you can stand the dropping then by all means do teaks on Ape Atoll. If not then Willows shouldn't be bad... once you get into the high 90's (95+) maples arn't bad either. Just make sure its a fast respawn world and no crowds.. 2-3 others at most. Also I hear Eucalyptus trees are good exp for those who don't want to drop invents of logs. Never tried em myself but just passing that knowledge onto you.

It's funny you have the same goals I had like 2 years ago. I'd say go with the defence.. don't look at my sig... :oops: I swear I am not biased : But to be completely honest I don't see you getting 91 rc from 53. I started at 65 and you see how far I've gotten... 10 levels. Now it's true I do not know you or anything about how patient you are or this or that.. but I do know that I am not the least patient person in the world.. and I do have a good drive.. but I burnt out after 10 levels.. well I just found better things to do.. If you play the way you say you do bored as hell... you will probably be like me and burn out in 10 or so levels... you may even make it to the 70's who knows but if you feel bored than you probably will be bored until you eventually give it up for awhile. So I say go ahead and do defence. One more thing... if I haven't already proven my point. It's alot easier to get back into defence training than it is RC training.. if you leave and break from RS for a few days/weeks/months and come then back that is... at least it seemed like it for me.

Well if I am not mistaken dragin bones are currently above 3k each.. Which means that killing green dragons should be a substantial amount of money so go for it. I would not be surprised if you saw anywhere from 50-100k or even more above the totals made only a few months ago as far as profit/hour goes. As far as which slayer master, I would suggest Duradel only if you at 100+ F2P combat. I did not look up your stats as I am a firm believer in "help me to help you" that means you the topic creator should put your stats in the post. I don't like going back and forth with opened windows/tabs etc etc. But that's enough of my rant on to my prediction about the amulet. I honestly do NOT see the Amulet of Ranged dropping below 1m. True there are cheaper alternatives which provide other bonuses as well but +15 range bonus and +10 magic defence are nothing to push to the side merely because of the price. That's just my view. 1m is not as much as it use to be. I also believe that these amulets will find a home for certain things once more people get their hands on one. Again just my opinion.

I would go with Grey's. The exp comes out to something like 210 exp/red I THINK. If that is indeed the case, than it is your job to figure out the cost of the other materials you use. If the cost of the extra p pots is more than the cost of using red's well then obviously use reds. If it is not however than the only thing greys will cost you is a bit more time. I would assume, even with the cost of prayer pots as high as it is that using Grey chins is cheaper.
