  1. Join the club m8. I too am training at black drags for 85 range and a visage. I can't afford diamond (e) bolts but I did make 2.8k emmy (e). I'm sure my 85 range will come before a visage, but its worth a go. Good luck to you in your drops. Maybe I'll see you around sometime. PM me in-game if ya get bored and wanna chat it up. BTW, your in a Merch clan? Never heard of it before, what do they do?
  2. Simple as this: In the search for keywords field type "Mithril Dragon" Then scroll down the page you should see something that says 'Forum' then click the drop down menu arrow. Click Player-Made Guides: Monsters, Money-Making, Tips & Other Then click search. Note: make sure to include the quotation marks(") in the keyword search.
  3. There is a way to melee them with veracs if I am not mistaken, it is just way more efficient and easy to range them. As with range you can max at 10 kills per run, with melee I believe it was 5 or 6. Try looking for melee guides.
  4. If you are 96 mage or are within 3 lvls of 96 mage and use mind bomb then its worth it more to use lunars. Since anything you need with regular you can use spellbook swap and do it that way (with the exception of alching, you'll waste alot of runes) It is the most effective way to train slayer, along with various other ways such as cannoning certain tasks and burthorping others.
  5. Actually from what I saw when using at GWD, the only thing it does is list the drop that is obtained. The person who does the most damage still gets the drop however the drop is listed in the chat box which means there is no lying about the drop that was gotten. I don't remember seeing any drops on the floor with lootshare activated, so this is just from experience.
  6. I would be at edgeville bank, with the fish banked. I would simply make a fire then cook the lobs. Then bank. Then repeat. Basically how everyone cooks  And about 92 hours? Thanks Everyone doesn't cook that way :-$ Most people use the Rogues den. However I assume you are F2P. So since its a further walk than rogues. So a little less than 1k an hour averaging 850-925 an hour. So around 100 hours or so. Wow I used "so" alot :XD:
  7. Zammy D'hide top and bottom. D boots and gloves. Zammy cape and a red mask : Black defender or Zammy Pray book D scimmy? probably whippy. ooor Dragon skirt/legs Black Pl8 Zammy cape Zammy book Drag boots Some black or red helm/hat. Drag gloves Whip or d scimmy.
  8. Its the hill giant dungeon. You can probably trade people down there tunas for limps. Thats what someone did when I was a nub and trained down there (that was like 3 years ago). I traded her so much I still remember her name. So maybe fish some tunas and trade 1 tuna for 1 limp while your down there. In F2P of course. You should get invent fulls in no-time. I find Hobgoblins to drop limps very often. Try them =)
  9. Well my str lvl is 80. With a whip I hit 23's max. Remeber that Str bonus' also go toward your max hit. So with a whip, neitz helm, rune def, fury, barrows gloves and rune boots I can hit a 23. Not sure what it would be with bandos tassets (str bonus from legs) and bandos pl8/fighter torso.
  10. Try merchanting.. you could even try a method I use. Please take note of a couple things: 1- The examples I give are for barrows merching, but the tips are generally a rule of thumb, that you should follow all the time while merching. 2- The prices HAVE changed quite a bit since I stopped merching barrows. 3- Obviously since you only have 5m, you WON'T be buying guthans as its upward of about 6.6m-6.8m, last I saw. Thats if you choose to merchant and merchant barrows. 4- You CAN merchant other things such as ores, runes, bones and various other armors and weapons. [hide=Here ya go, hope it helps. (Long Read)] Make a post on the forums, Runescape Official Forums (of course), and post what you are buying and the amount of what you are buying in the title. NEVER post the price you are buying for in your title, especially if it is below the average price people buy for. It is the #1 way to get ignored. Then make you post with as much detail as you want, but try to keep it short as most people are trying to sell fast and have to short of an attention span to read your detailed and lengthy post. Here is an example of what my posts looked like when I was merchin barrows(note I averaged over 4-5m a day[about 5-8 hours of play]) [hide=Thread Example(Buying)] Title = ">>Buying all your Barrows<<" Thread looked exactly like this: Current Status: ---------------- Game: Online Forums: Online ---------------- I am buying these barrows sets/pieces. Some Not-so-Common rules: (you may or may not know this) -->ALWAYS!!! Always Always Always(cant stress this enough) Always put the rules of your thread in the beginning and make them stand out or else your PM's will be those of the sort you do not want -->ALWAYS!!! Always be polite when someone pm's you or posts on your thread. (A number of times I got a PM of people who offered to sell for more than what I was buying for and when I told them "Nty, Thanks for your interest and the offer though" they decided to sell for my price. Kindness works!) Always say "ty, much appreciated =)" after you accept a trade. Polite = respect and more ppl like you. Which means they won't be afraid to sell you more items another time. -->I prefered to woodcut in Draynor while I merched. Its easy to lose track of time and not pay attention to the amount of items adding up in your bank, easy to tele to if you have to meet someone and easy for others to get to... Most merchanters stay in world 2 constantly selling the supply of what they have and buying if they see a deal. I prefer to get exp and buy all at once, then sell when I am down to 1m. -->NEVER! Never be afraid to compromise with people, don't be afraid to go a 50-100k above the price you ask for (with barrows at least) as you are normally paying 2-300k under the norm price anyway. --> Use other peoples threads as well as bumping your own from time to time. Now I am not saying advertise on threads of people buying/selling items about your thread. Just post on thread of people selling what you are buying and vice versa(when your selling what they are buying) This is how I made a majority of my purchases and sales. -For example, if you see a post about someone selling something and you are buying. Simply post or PM them about it. Inform them you are willing to buy at your price (make sure to tell them what it is). The worse they can say is "No" or "No you dumb merch". Either way tell them "ok, thanks for your time" they are usually reluctant to hear this and say "ty" back to you.[/hide] These are just a few things I learned, and I hope they help you. Good luck in your merchanting if you so choose. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you do NOT want to merchant, you could try getting your runecrafting to 75 (using the ZMI alter would be the fastest) Then do nats, deaths or cosmics using all 4 pouches. (Note: this is with super energies as well The amount of money averaged is as follows: Natures--> 477k per hour Deaths---> 453k per hour Cosmics-> 615k per hour Laws-----> 431k per hour
  11. After it sits in a spot for 30 mins it degrades and goes back to the dwarf on ice mountain. (I think, don't quote me) So pick it up every 25 mins and then put it back down.
  12. I would say at daggonaths under the light house. Very good exp, very good seed drops, pretty much pays for itself. Just remember dont let your cannon degrade!
  13. Taken from the Mega Runecrafting Guide by Zarfot. RSOF. Quick find code: 22-23-135-51123056 (WARNING: VERY VERY Very very LONG READ. With EXTENSIVE CALCULATIONS) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- So you figure an average of 2.3k ess per hour = 4.6k nats. 4.6k*300 ea = 1.38m
  14. For mith drags you can only Solo, and you need to do is a 15 minute mini-game type deal. Check out the knowledge data base on Runescape.com for more info on it. Also use a Games necklace to tele to barb outpost to make getting to that area faster. For godwars you can always go with a friend or team. But soloing will make you more money since you don't have to split drops. Unless you can get more kills with a partner/team then I would suggest soloing. As for a guide person to help show you the ropes ask around these forums, there are always nice people to help out and you can use a lootshare world to make sure there will be no lying about drops. Be sure not to turn it on before you go to boss though, or else the kill count needed wont add up.
  15. That bandos part of the guide is a bit off. You don't need a super anti, as you don't get poisoned by bandos or at least I didn't. The pray pots are kinda worthless as well and all those sharks arn't necessary. I find sara brews and sup restores to work better than the sharks and p pots. Maybe bring 10 sharks for quick healing. fill the rest with sup restores and sara brews. Id say 2-3 brews per sup restore. Also I found torag pl8 + verac skirt to help a great deal in the ways of range def and pray bonus. As far as having him melee you and getting damaged by the ranged attack.
  16. Try this guide for mith dragons Mith Dragon Video Guide Try this guide for Armadyl Boss MeToo's Guide to God Wars
  17. fishing, cooking and wcin are the 3 most afk'able skills in my opinion. Smithing if you plan on doing iron bars to 99, or bars into knives, arrowhead or dart tips... since it goes through a whole invent and you can not pay as much attention. If you do mith bars or something like that you can only make 8-9 bars at a time and thats if your making steel. So every 9 bars or less you are having to click again. I think wcing would be a good one to train to 99, its pretty fast and if you want to afk more then you can do mage trees and make a great deal of profit. Fishing monks is also good, sharks for more afk and more profit though.
  18. Red chins are far from 1m an hour. Rcin at lvl 91 however is 1m+ an hour. Id suggest just monster hunting. Either metals for a visage, Mith drags for a d full helm, or GWD armadyl or Sara bosses for a hilt, they are both 20m+ and if you have 90+ def and 85+ range I heard you can solo armadyl.
  19. I dunno if this guy is on my side, but I sure do agree with him :XD: =D> Very well said m8. I just think it should reduce the amount of times being hit. (greatly) Like it does with NPC's. Not saying those with 99 defence should be "invincible" but I mean a little more love shown to people with 99 def would be nice. I don't mind being hit for a 35 when someone has a whip and 99 str, even if they have 70 attack. That doesn't bother me, but if I got hit for 3 or 4 30+'s at 99 defence in a duel with armor on or off even, thats quite upsetting. Especially when my 91 att and 80 str don't hit my max (23) on them while they have def in the 70's or even 80's.
  20. Ah m8, a question right up my alley : . I will let you know what I did seeing as how we started at the same level defence. 1) From 70-80, experiments. Its a great training spot that I still use to this day! It gets boring and annoying when people steal your monsters but its still a great spot. 2) From 80-96 I did PC. Now with the new update your going to want to start PC with 85+ defence to get optimum exp. Note: your going to want to be 100+ combat. 2.1) If you do NOT want to do PC then you could head to Desert Bandits with a set of guthans, fire giants with guthans or daggonaths with guthans or 500 noted lobbies and about 200k gp, then when you need to get more food head upstairs in the Lighthouse and sell your notes to the GS guy and then buy back. Daggs will be the fastest exp out of the 3. Desert bandits take the least amount of attention to train on. 3) From 96-98 I did fire giants (because the update to PC came out and I didnt like it so I stopped PC'ing. But I recently went back and its not so bad) 4) From 98 to 98 and a half I did daggs, but I died. So from 98 and a half to 99 I did experiments again. They are always trustworthy. Hope I helped at least a little bit and good luck on 99. BTW I hear of people training at the Axes in wildy. If you want more info on this PM SirHeman (I think thats his name) because thats where he trains.
  21. lunar diplomacy and dream mentor are good quests to get done, then you have access to the new lunar spell book. Desert treasure is good to get done, then you can use the ancient spellbook. Fremmy Isles (as everyone else has said) Great Brain Robbery is good, since you get an anchor and the ability to heal poison with a prayer book and holy symbol (great for thieving at PP) Enlightened Journey is good, then you can use the hot air balloons to fly from place to place. Rum Deal gives you a holy wrench with which adds like +1 to your p pot doses which makes them a little more effective during training. These are ones I have done recently (except DT) and have come in quite handy. Especially the ones that gain access to Lunar Spells.
  22. Firstly if you're going to kill the Armadyl boss, your going to need 80+ range and 80+ defence would also be a help. If you arn't meleein, which you obviously arn't dont worry about att and str. Your prayer is fine, 43+ is fine. So work on 80 range and 80 def and then go for it.
  23. Take a few days off. Honestly I am in a bored period too, everything I do in RS seems to bring up boredom and I stop within 10-20 mins. This has happened to me before. I took a week or so off and I could enjoy myself again. It's wierd but, if you find yourself bored and can't find anything to do, just take a break. Seems to work for me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As for money, you can try collecting whiteberries. You'll make upwards of 350-500k an hour. Its boring, but its probably something you have never tried before.
  24. Unless you do runecrafting first, you WON'T be getting all those skills up with 9m. Prayer: 62/80+ D bones at a guilded alter fastest way. Farming: 60/75 Dont entirely know personally, just plant allotments and the highest trees seeds you can. Herblore: 61/81 P pots till 81 would be fastest Magic: 82/94/99 MTA enchanting would be the fastest with the smallest loss of profit Construction: 52/75 Oak larders, expensive but fast Smithing: 65/73 Mith plates? I am not entirely sure but I do believe mith plates are fastest exp if you buy the bars Cooking: 79/94 lobbies Fletching: 84/99 yew longs for smallest loss in money, mage longs for bigger loss but faster exp. Hope this helps at all if not at least slightly. Its not detailed, I just gave ideas and strategies, it is your job to research them more. No one gets spoon fed their entire life.
  25. Since your mage question was answered pretty well, I will answer your agil question as simply as I can and I am sure everyone knows this already. There is NO fast way to train agility. Your best bet is Gnome agil till 35-42, Then Barb till 52, then wildy till 70. At 70 its ape atoll till 99. Now personally I did barb course for about 3 lvls and at 38, I went straight to brimhaven till 52, It was more fun and kept me entertained. I personally like Brimhaven agil dungeon alot. It can become your best friend.
