  1. I LOVE YOUR VIDS!!!!!! Thank you for not being afraid to use rap music in your videos. Thank you so very much. Your videos are the only PK vids I ever watch, because I am tired of listening to music that blows out my eardrums and sounds like screaming into a microphone about spreading the blood of the sacraficial lamb all over their bodies... demented much?. I mean for piss sake I could make a song where I scream into a mic about doing something immoral, not very difficult. Again thank you very very much, keep it up as I will continue to watch them.
  2. There are zombies and skeletons in the Varrock sewers. You could also try cows at the crafting guild south of Falador. (Thats pretty fast until the 50's) or You could try minotaurs in the Stronghold of Security located in Barb villages, just south of Edgeville.
  3. I would have to say training any other place than Ape Atoll would be a waste of money and chins. If you are a pure, which I assume you are, then why ruin yourself with unwanted def exp. Either sell your chins and get levels with bone bolts at Ogres or Lesser/Greaters or use the chins at PC (big waste of money IMO) Also, the best RfD gloves you could get would be addy since you cannot complete the Monkey part of the quest without gaining your defence exp. (At least I believe so, correct me if I am wrong. And if I am wrong that would mean you COULD in fact get back to Ape Atoll without gaining the exp which would also mean you can cast the Ape Atoll tele as a reward from King A [the monkey from RFD] so you would in fact be able to train your range using chins there  ) :-k Confusing tid-bit of info.
  4. Well, I couldn't agree with you more, except I am more particular to a certain combat stat when I think of rants of this nature. We all know which it is, Strength. It is the stat that leads to names such as "noob" or "def noob" (Which I hear often) Why does a higher str level make people feel as though they are better than everyone else lower than they? It annoys me to a point that I refuse to get my str above 80 at the moment and in fact, it will be the last combat stat (or stat period for that matter) that I would consider getting to 99. Here is where my and your opinions differ, maybe I am just giving my opinion here. I agree a higher combat level doesn't make you any less of a noob than someone who has a combat of 3. However, I do feel as though those level 3 "skillers" are just seeking attention by trying to be different. Everyone at one point or another had a main. Whenever we all first started playing, NONE of us said, I hate combat I will get all my non-combat stats up instead (at least not without trying out combat first or having an outside influence on our decision when we first started) Therefore, I believe skillers are in it for "fame" and attention. However, to make combat the only portion of this game would be like going through your whole life without leaving the house. You never experiment with new things and you never gain other knowledge than that of what you hear and see. I saw a level 121 with 10 ranked stats. 4 of them were non-combat stats... total level of 1038. Does their high combat level make them more knowledgeable about runescape than a level 3 with maxed non-combats? Of course not, so I see what your saying when you say combat isn't everything and I agree it isn't.
  5. I was upset with this, not because it slowed exp, but more-so because it deterred the fact that I got to 96 fletching the "old fashion" way. Now I see why so many were upset with the introduction of 'cook-x' The amount of young people playing the game, particularly under the requirement of 13 is rediculous. I am infact angered at the fact that most of them have a lacking vocabulary and try to insult you thuroughly with their small amount of words and grammar knowledge. Now I do not have a Doctorate in English, however I do remember what I was taught throughout my school years and apply it to everyday speech. I find myself telling them to worry more about their schoolwork than runescape. That is a very interesting way of looking at it and yet a totally correct way too! There is no such thing as having no life, if you had no life you'd be in a coffin, 6 feet underground. No Self Control.. I like it, infact I am one of those people with very little self control, however I do know how to balance my real life and gaming life, maybe more-so than others Always has been and always will be LAME.. however I did hear a story of 2 people that met, via runescape, and actually got married in real life. Thats interesting, however it doesn't always work out that way, and most of the people "dating" on RS are pre-pubescent teens I am one of those people who disagree. Now you DO make a valid point, I grant you that. However, setting goals and accomplishing them is a way of life. It is how the successful people became successful. Now some of those goals may be twisted and morally wrong(Hitler and his Nazi regime) however he was aspiring for a goal nonetheless(note: I don't agree with racism or anything of that nature nor do I support Nazism) The way I see it, people use skillers to gain popularity or fame on RS. There is no point to a skiller, noone in this game has never had a main. Noone started this game and said, "okay well I won't train any combat stats, EVER". So why create a new account, just to train your non-combats when you can do so on your main/first account? (Having your main/first account banned or hacked and then creating a skiller is a different story, but still screams for attention) Skillers = attention hogs... However merchanters I believe its funny how people despise them so. Why would you take time out of your life to make a comment toward someone that has no meaning or reason to be said? I see it on the forums all the time "Stop trying to merch you dumb noob" or "Merchanting is for losers" somethings of that nature, why? I will add onto this with somthing you mentioned earlier, Pures. Yes we have all heard of them, all seen them, all had our own bad experience with a arrogant/rude pure. It happens. Why create a pure account, I don't know, its a waste of time if you ask me. But to complain when a update is made that would deter the "usefulness" of your pure, now that is down right selfish. It was your choice to create your account the way you did, why complain to Jagex when you don't get your way? So what! Now you can't kill peoples main accounts because they have better defensive armors. There is still 40+% of the rest of the RS population that ARE pures that you can fight. Rude people, thats what it boils down to. Simply rude people who are incapable of exiting their self centered POV and seeing things from another persons perspective. Selfish people, that all there is to this one. There is no such thing, actually, only peoples perspectives on an update and considerations as to how it will benefit them, usually more negative than positive, hence the idea of a negative update or failed update Envious people, instead of congratulating his success and aspiring to join his "rank" instead people flame and rant on about how he has no life and is a loser who has never been laid. All in all he is either a cheater or a no-life loser... Envy is a hell of an attribute to have people, see how far it will get you in your real life I am more annoyed by the amount of spamming in these very forums than that of the clan chat. I see way to many people trying to raise their post count. Here is something you should all know Quoting someone and writing +1 under it is spam and I do report all those who do it, I advise everyone else to report this as well Doing the afore mentioned serves no purpose, if you are trying to help someone out, and you see someone has already posted what you were going to say, just let it be, writing +1 under their quoted post, serves no purpose but to raise your post count. Please stop. Remember Quality over Quantity Make your posts quality based not quantity I am glad I read your thread as it gave me a chance to vent on everything I see that bothers me. Alot of what you said I could agree with and rant further about.
  6. add me ill give you a skills necklace, ill charge if for you if you meet in ardy. ADD Me.
  7. I have seen bolts a few times. I would assume I am correct, however the people I saw say bolts, I don't know how credible their info is.
  8. Well from what I have read, they are cheap (4-5gp ea) and hit as hard as mith bolts. Other than that I dunno whats so great about them.
  9. Its in your hunter guide, in-game. 20 = 2 40 = 3 60 = 4 80 = 5
  10. You are actually wrong. Yes its only a 30 gp profit per log, however, you WILL be able to make more trades faster, making your cash at the same rate if not faster. For example: You buy 5k 320 ea, takes you about 30-40 mins You resell 5k 350 ea, takes you another 30-40 mins --> Total profit = 150k --> Total time = about 60 to 80 mins -or- You buy 5k 290 ea, takes you about an hour & a half maybe two hours You resell 5k at 350 ea, takes you 30-40 mins --> Total profit = 300k --> Total time = about 90 to 180 mins You can double, possibly triple the time it takes to buy and sell those logs if you buy 320ea and sell 350ea. (Those times were fictional, just based upon personal merching experience and his information provided[being ignored on forums]) Another tip: When buying, do NOT post the price your buying for in the thread title unless its equal or more compared to what others are buying for. Thats a #1 way to be "ignored" on the RSOF.
  11. just another example of why not to open links that you do not recognize. A shame really, you can lead a horse to water, yet you can't force it to drink.. these users need to learn how to protect themselves better.
  12. So your planning on getting 99 mining by christmas man thats going to be one heck of a accomplishment, especially with gold instead of granite or iron. One question, where do you mine your gold at?
  13. I have never seen that happen before, and I spent over 3-4 months at PC. Only "Ow I broke my tooth!" However, I am guessing that its something that would be super hot, maybe some type of item from tzhaar caves.
  14. Pretty much, this is true. Only mods, rich people, or people that have 10+ 99's get over 1k posts in their blogs. Personally, my blog has been up for going on a year in January and I have like 40 posts with 2.5k views. And those 40 posts are a combination of me, and 3 or 4 of my closest friends . Thanks guru, Tall and 3d lol
  15. P pots are fast try those. Next time put all 3 of your questions into one thread so you're not spamming up the forum.
  16. I am with you, green is my favorite color, but the white phat looks uber sexy to me. Hears my opinion, it is a bit off topic though: Get a trimmed prayer cape. Get a yellow phat and get proselyte armor or initiate armor. The yellow phat accents the yellow in the cape trim and armor
  17. I did contact today, It was soo easy. I would have to say, its quite easy and I didn't come close to dying, however I hear of alot of people almost dying. So maybe its just me because of my defence level. MEP 1 is very easy. I still have to do the other 3 but out of them I hear MEP 2 is the hardest, and thats from a friend with a Quest cape.
  18. By far the most cleverly thought out skill idea that I have read, you included every single piece of info that would be needed to research and use the skill, Also, I am loving the skill cape!! awesome! Add me to the supporters list. BTW, Have you posted this in the RS official forums?? or even queried Jagex with the idea because I do believe with all the info you have thought out and organized they would give this a serious thought.
  19. oh dear, double post. My apologies.
  20. Heres the breakdown: Take it from experience: Firstly, from 58 (your current level) to 70 (level for yew longs) do willows longs. [1]--> Buy willow logs [2]--> Fletch into willow long (u) [3]--> Sell them to the GS [4]--> Repeat. (You will make back about 2/3's of what you spent on the willow logs when you resell to General Store) From 70-99 I would recommend yew longs. [1]--> Buy supplies for any amount of yew longs(yew log and BS) you want to do. (I suggest 5k easy to buy, easy to trade*(explained a bit later) [2]--> Fletch all 5k into yew long (u) and then string all(since you don't string by hand anymore this makes things easier) [3]--> Trade your 5k yew longs for 5k more supplies, and also ask for a bit of money (I usually ask for 20-50k, some people charge 100k) [4]--> Repeat Thats how you make some money off fletching which will ultimately pay off itself if you trade finished bows for materials. Quite easy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As for how long it will take, only you can decide that, once you hit 70 its right down easy streak, you should actually gain a few levels in your first day, over a span of 3-5(ish) hours.
  21. Willows at Barb outpost. Thats where the exp is at. Just run into the outpost and bank em in the deposit box. Exp > Money Once you have 99 woodcutting doesn't mean you have to stop cutting. You can still cut yews after 99 for money. If you don't want to wait for 99 then you should go at like 95. From 95-99 it is 24,360 yews. Granted they are 300-350ea you make anywhere from 7.3m(7,308,000 @ 300ea) to 8.5m (8,526,000 @ 350ea) Which is still a good chunk of money. Then once you hit 99 you can do yews or magics or whatever your heart desires.
  22. I'd think that level 70 is a bit late to be worrying about your defense level...but to each his own. Why does everything revert back to pures... is there not a single main left in this game without a pure. Oh well -.- OT: I find swipe to work more often than not, I do not know why, but the defensive style works fine too.
  23. thanks mchain, i changed the question now, so i dont spam the forum. Anyone answer my second question?
