99 Hunting Enough Chins for 99 Range 90 Attack (at dusties) D-Chain from dusties

Oh dear another def nub.. Ah well takes one to know one I suppose ( :oops: I are heart teh def cape too!! ) Well I had a plan too, but it didnt work out as planned. 70-80 Def at experiments (that worked nicely) 80-97 defence at PC (and you think you did PC to much, planned on getting 99) 97-98 at fires (hated the new PC, and still do) 98-98.5 at daggs... I died with my guthans and everything (definatly not according to plan) 98.5-99 back at experiments (gotta love those little guys) I heart my cape though. Glad to see defence is making a comeback. I get some people saying to me "99 def with 108 combat wow!" but you will also hear "defence n00bi3 I R t3h awsomeness nd my sTrength R t3h pWNS u!!!" Lol anyways best of luck with 99 defence.

47 Farming 62-67 Hunter 81 & 82 Mage 65 Slay 93 Wc 86 Attack Trip to Black Drags Finally got B2P after 8+ hours of workin First stay at dusties. About 3-3.5 hours. 230 Kill Count.

Personally, I got about 300k+ eperience a day (ranging from 4-6 hours) at experiments. Granted I used cmb pots to hit a bit higher and I used "quick spawn" worlds. It averages out to about 50-55k xp/hour without pots and 55-65k with cmb pots. Maybe more with supers but why waste money. Also experience/hour will also vary dependent on the number of pures you have trying to "steal" your monsters. I say steal because it is known that the most effective way to train at experiments, with there respawn rate is to kill them in groups of 2 or more... (I know some people have problems with others who say "you stole my monster" but whatever.) (Note: my attack lvl was 85 and str lvl 80. So since yours may be higher you may gain more xp per hour.) I got from 98-99 defence there in about a day or 2. With 700k or so xp left.

I agree with the argument that defence is the unequal stat. I trained 99 defence for a sole reason, to be protected and have to worry about eating less. however, I see myself sometimes getting hit more often or higher than the other people around me (when training at NPC's) Now I realized that on trips with a friend to KBD id be lending him sharks as I have to eat less, but what good is high defence if I want to fight other monsters that do not require a team? Anyways to your question: As already stated each stat has its own "use". Most believe high attack is for staking/NPC's and high str is for KO'ing in wild. For the most part that is correct. In my own personal opinion, now that I have 99 defence. Attack will be the next of my melees to reach 99. Maybe it is because I have a personal bias again strength and I want to prove that high str doesn't make you any better than someone with high defence or high attack. You can just hit harder, you are still the same as me or someone with 99 attack (given you have 99 str) Currently I am 86 A 80 S and 99 D... It really is all a mater of preference, do you like hitting constantly or the occasional 30? The choice is yours.

Wow mind PMing me on how you kill those bad boys?? You can kill like 7+ in one trip people were telling me the record was 8 miths in one trip and you've slain 10 in one so your obviously very good at kiling them. Anyways good luck on getting a full helm. I'm sure you will get it eventually.

Hey all, I recently started hunting. I am planning on hunting red chins from 63-99. I believe I heard its about 35k Chins in that ballpark. Well with the chins I wanted to get 99 range(right now I am 80) at the dungeon used in MM. I was wondering if anyone knew how many chins it will take me from 80-99 range if I am praying using the range boosting prayer. Whether you have experience or you have read someone elses claim on how many they used. Any answers are much appreciated and welcome.

Well first off I would like to say that guthans is NOT a requirement. In fact I believe my first and only try was easy and I did not use guthans. I would say swap the karil skirt for a verac skirt and the coif for verac helm. If you want to do it with the x-bow then bring 3k+ racks if not more (personally I would say 6k+ just to be safe and its not like you can't resell extras) If you can use ranger boots, archer ring, Achievment cape (trimmed preferably) or obby cape. Fury. Highest RFD gloves. With that equipment you should be set and ready to roll. :

This is a guide to meleeing at Barrows. This is the guide I used when I first started barrowing. It is great, I started out maging, but when I tried it with melee I loved that so from now on I use melee. Your welcome. It actually wouldn't take long to get 4m from yews. About a month if you can come up with 3-5 hours a day to commit. I cut 5k yews in a week at about 70-75 wcin (I don't remember exaclty it was awhile ago) It would take 16k yews for the 4 mil you are looking for and if you can sell at 250ea then there you go. Not to mention you get some great wcing experience. : Again, best of luck.

Well there are 3 main spots that I can say people enjoy cutting yews quickly. 1- Seers. The bank isn't to far from the yews and there are 3 of them there so why not. 2- Catherby (a bit west of cath bank, right beneath the flax field). This is also a decent area with a bank not to far and a good amount of yew trees in close conjunction. 5 or 6 if I am not mistaken. 3- Edgeville. The bank is the closest to yews that I know of and its not a bad place to cut. Especially if your in a crowded world with noone else cutting there. I have loaded up in a couple minutes that way (93 wc) There is also another place thats popular in F2P and thats south of fally east bank. Right outside the southern wall there is 2 or 3 yews kind of close together, but the bank is the furthest away. The other spots mentioned are closer to banks. Now in my own personal opinion, I prefer Seers. It can be crowded at times, but I like the yews that close together.. I have tried the ones in cath, and they were very crowded. However recently I have been cutting in Edgeville trying to find a full world with 1 or 2 other players cutting there. Its all a matter of preference, hope I could help.

This is a real hard question to answer as I personally believe it depends on the ease to get them as a drop. Everyone said Dragon fulls would be down under 10 in a week and they are still at 30-40m to my knowledge. Since the drop rate is so rare and the mithril dragons can only be killed 4-6 every run to the cavern. So I would say if they are rare to get, which I don't believe they are, (I have seen 2-3 pairs already) then the price should drop rather soon. Best of luck buying :

I would have to say Guthix Dragonhide. I love the look of the blessed d hides. I think your mask would go good with that. But it really is all in the personal opinion of you.

I did prayer pots to get from 52-59. Its the best way to get a profit that I know of. I bought: -Vials: 250 each -Ranarrs: 8k each -Snapegrass: 450 each Then I sold the pots (3) for 9k each in Edgeville, w18 w22 w23 w69 w9 w6 mainly, and any other world you feel you can sell them in. Selling the p pots takes awhile, but don't get discouraged.

99 Achieved, check out the few pics I got with my buddy andrew I was training at lighthouse daggys... I wasn't paying attention for a few minutes (5-7 to be exact) and I auto-logged. I assume they became aggressive on me again and since I didn't have my guthans equipped, there was no healing done only death :XD: No I wasn't afk training either, I was just in a argument with a female friend of mine and lost track of RS... darn females with all their problems hehe

Actually if you look closely the maul player has no damage splashes on them. It would seem as thought the player with the DH is running from the one with the dark bow. OT: I have never known this, thanks for the info. As for hitting a 98 with one special, that would be an amazing accomplishment. The makings of quite a good screenie. I would believe it to be very rare though, maybe one in a million if not more. Again, thanks for the info :

You should give the Stronghold of Security a try. It works very well for F2P training. If you decide to try it then Minotaurs are your best friend bring about 24 lobbies and you should be able to last for a long time. Bringing that many, with your defence level, may not even be necessary. After you get some comb at levels, I'd say about 80-90 then you can do flesh crawlers till your hearts content : Check this link out to see where minotaurs and flesh crawlers are located: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=stronghol ... ty_map.htm If you are not interested in the SoS then cows up to lvl 45-50 are not that bad. I know from personal experience. However, after that the stronghold is your best bet for experience. Hope this helps :D
