Ah i downloaded the drivers but what do i do with them? they just unload a few files onto my desktop called sfx, hpsfx, and a folder with more stuff that i don't know what to do with called 3500.

Well i was just going around cleaning and wanted to delete my old printer from my computer, but when i went to My Printers i accidently deleted my current printer. Now i can't use it. I still have the rest of the software on the computer. I do not have the CD anymore is what really sucks. Is there anything i can do, do i have to buy another CD somewhere on ebay? Honestly just do some if it makes your dad be quite. I was in a bunch of clubs but only went to the meetings that i held a position in (and even those i mostly skiped). All you need to do is go to the first meeting of the club and sign up, after that don't come at all. It really doesn't matter, if you pay your dues they shouldn't bother you (if they do say you have work or something). Activities look good on transcripts, you really should have atleast a few clubs/sports under your belt. State schools don't really care as much, but you should still ahve something. If you are going to a prestigious college you really want to hold some position/varsity.

no i used a the pen tool strictly (although i took out the brush a couple of times when i went back to fix some things), that is what all the layers are for. Keep in mind this isn't the full version, it has been minimized to 40% thus maybe giving it more of a painted feel.

The HDD also seems to come in two types, i know i want 100 GB, but whats the difference in 5400rpm and 7200rpm? And also is the upgrade worth it (and extra $170 more :shock: ) 3. Also for graphic cards (something i have knowledge in) i have a few choices. And i was wondering which one will suit me well (i play some games but not many, but would like to have atleast an ok graphic card). Digital camera is pretty cool idea. Maybe an mp3 player (ipod or something) and you can later buy a connecter that hooks it up to you car. You have a lot of money, that must suck.

I agree, if you don't have to use an airplane to get to your college, i strongly recommend a pc (or unless its required in your course [not recommened but required]). EDIT: They are having a sale at Toshiba laptops right now (they say it ends today :shock: 25% off) so if you want to get one get it now. I have to say toshiba laptops are pretty expensive too.

Alienware is overpriced, but they provide good PC and notebooks, at an overpriced price ofcourse. If you have the money, and with 2000 you can get a good alienware laptop, it is worth it i think. Not only that, from the many times i have read from credible sources (pc magazines and what not), they have really good costumer support.
