Thanks for the info, guys. (Not that I don't want others to post more. I like info.) I'm pretty darn sure there used to be wilderness to the east (and i think also to the north for pay-only back then). The old map I had for runescape had wilderness stretching to the east in an expanse almost as large as the non-wild map. I'm sure the full map is now much larger, but the new free-play map I'm looking at just seems so much... less. With all the graphic changes though, maybe I'm just not reading it with the right perspective. By this do you mean characters who only learn 'warrior' combat skills and no spells? I remember this being one of my biggest frustrations towards the end of my previous run. I practiced some spells and prayers that are next to useless just to see how the system worked, and suddenly I can't PK at all because my combat level went up 10 points while my actual in-game 'real power' remained the same. I had sort of expected this would have become less of a problem by now, particularly when I read above that so many have all skills maxed. Is it still the case that with a character who has 57th level combat power and 20 points in prayer/magic will typicaly get owned in the wilderness?
