I suppose he wants to be seen doing something. He wants to win the unwinnable war. Tied in with the topic in general, just a few minutes ago, I heard on the news america arranging diplomatic talks with neighbouring countries. Step in the right direction, perhaps. It will be interesting to see what affect it has, if any.
