When you use GIMP don't delete it lol, i did and i have never been able to save in Paint to be able to open files again as both programs are somehow connected...

you mean shared files? some files are ebil that way. they make it a step harder because they share files between programs. That's why they generally prompt you while you are uninstalling, though =/
