It's a nice illustration with lots of potential, nice work.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'll start by saying the first looks more professional.

 

 

 

- Both are a bit plain. A soft, subtle gradient and/or pattern in the background would make the graphic look more interesting while still keeping it professional.

 

 

 

- The text on both is difficult to read and not particularly stylish. The yellow glow around it (and around the 3D) makes it worse. A simple font like Arial or Verdana can do wonders when used correctly.

 

 

 

- The image could be cropped to be smaller (in height), there's a lot of empty space at the top.

I like the second one better, but the writing should be just a big bigger so you can see what it says.

i think the text is the weak point of the sig... i would try and find a text that embodies the image more...
