Well, I decided to go for 99 fishing as I have finally gotten my trimmed cape and wish to go for more. So I wanted to know how long it would take to get 99 fishing by sharks. That way, I would make money while doing it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was wondering how long it would take to get one load of sharks at around level 76. Also, I wish to repeat the same question but instead, if I had level 85 fishing. That'd let me get a gist of how long I'd need to train.

I can not tell you the exact times.. but fishing sharks at 76 fishing is not a smart idea. I suggest waiting until 80+ fishing. I am 81 fishing, and I rarely fish sharks even now. If you are solely training for the exp aspect, fly fishing salmon/trout is the fastest, and is considered "power-fishing".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you are looking for moderate cash and relatively fast fishing, then monkfish and lobsters are easier methods. I don't recommend fishing sharks until at least 85+ fishing, but it is your decision. Sorry that I could not give exact fishing times for the mentioned levels.

I thought so :P So would doing fly-fishing till around 85 then doing sharks to 99 work out?

Yes, it would be more cost-effective for the use of your time.
