F2P trading - need advice

Hi everyone, new to this site and forum, however quite and old RS player. I've recently come back to RS after a while, and managed to make quite a sum of 300k in just two days from my restart, which will be my basic finanse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've been trading rune essences, but now I guess it's time to move onto bigger things. But the prices sure ain't what they used to be back when I played, so I need some help;

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Rune Sets

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Collecting pieces of rune sets then putting them together into "full rune" always got me a 10% income of the invested money, is it still so? I'd also like someone to write what each individual piece of the Rune armor costs

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Rune scimitars

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well they're going from 20-40k, so they seem like a steady income, is there anyone that recommends this type of trading?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Pure essences

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is something all new to me, as these didn't exist back when I played.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. What are they for?

 

 

 

2. Where do you get them (F2P / P2P?)

 

 

 

3. How much is the lowest price, the median price, and a high price

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Anything else? Remember, I don't pay for the game, so F2P stuff only.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I will also keep merchanting the rune essences, as I've got quite many "workers" digging them for me :)

Rune Platebody: 50 - 60k

 

 

 

Rune Platelegs: 35 - 50k

 

 

 

Rune Full helm: 20 - 30k

 

 

 

Rune Kitesheild: 40 - 50k

Rune scimmys go for 20 - 30k nowadays. I wouldn't recommend this unless you are members as you can buy for 20k each there, and sell in free to play for 25k each.

Pure essence is for crafting members runes like chaos, nature, laws etc. You can buy off other players in free to play and that is the only way, but in members you can mine them in the rune essence mines like in free to play but its pure essence instead. Lowest price for p ess is around 90 ea and highest is 120 ea.

I would try buyin trimmed armour if you have the cash, or possibly even rares. These are better as you will gain profit quicker and they are easier to sell as there are less sellers.

Rune pieces can only really be picked up cheap in members worlds, to make full sets, and sell in f2p worlds for a nice profit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rune Scimis seem to be around 25-30K now, but i doubt you'll be able to pick up bulk for 20kea, and sell for 40kea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. What are they for? - The make every rune, but in the only type of ess which can make nats, cosmics, bloods, souls, (basically rune ess can now ONLY make the 4 basic elemental runes)

 

 

 

2. Where do you get them (F2P / P2P?) Can only be mined in members, but can be used in non-members.

 

 

 

3. How much is the lowest price, the median price, and a high price: You wont ever be able to merchant it in F2p anyway. But; It sells cheapers 90ea, med 100ea, highest 110ea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was released to help combat rune ess macroers f2p.
