Swamp Tar

Featured Replies

Where can I get lots of swamp tar easily? I'm looking for something that drops lots, or a shop that sells lots, or some other method.

Anyone got any ideas?

Grab them from the ground in Lumbridge or Mort Myre swamp or kill cave slimes(with a drop rate of 100%) in the Lumbrigde Slayer Caves. The latter is far more fun and should also provide you with some level 1 clue scrolls.

The boat in lunar dioplacy has barrels full of the stuff down on 2nd floor.

Quest cape got at 25th july 2007! Did grim tales and mouring end 2 to get same day!

99/99 strength got at 30th september 2007

Most of the barrels only contain 2 tars to a maximum of 5. They don't respawn fast either. I'll still stick to cave slimes

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

They respawn about every 10 seconds, cave slime is about as fast, so it depends on what method you want to do, either killing stuff or just clicking on barrells.
