why are fighter torsos better than say a rune plate?

 

 

 

ive looked at the stats and theyre almost identicle.

It gives str bonus, alot of rune pures or high levels get them because there about as good as rune pl8 and they give an extra str bonus, helpful when pking/training you want all the hits you can get.

they own rune plates, rune plates are for noobs

so thats why i see so many rune def/fighter torso/royal helm at pest control

people go crazy over the best str bonus they can get, so infact that they ignore defence, personally i think 90+ str with lower then 70 def is ridicilous when you can be hit threw like water but thats me, but yes people like good str bonus the best would be, berserker or that newer helemt, fighter torso, fury, rune boots, barrow gloves and a fire cape.
