New Mini-Game:King of the Castle

This is my idea of a mix of the ever popular Castle Wars, and the not-so-hot Pest control. Where a death match between a team of 20 players and a garrisoned castle of warriors, rangers and magi exist under the rule of the King.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this mini-game, there is a camp, and a castle owned by the hostile King Morgareth and his men. Your team has been assigned to assassinate the king.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The camp is where the team of 20 starts, you can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t respawn, and once your dead, you get sent back outside. There are supplies in the camp and medic kits. With a runes (off all sorts, pick up in groups of 100) and arrows (from bronze to rune, that you collect in bundles of 50) that can be taken to use in battle. An interface similar to the agility ticket prize claiming screen will come up, where you can continuously click on the bundle you want, no long waits like BA. To make it harder, no Ancient magicks, otherwise, it would be too easy, and everyone hates easy stuff...

The seven storey castle will have floors specially designed for each type of the combat triangle, each floor containing many enemies, up to 60 per floor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The waves:

 

 

 

When you firstly start a wave of low level creatures will swarm from the castle (lvl 3-20 creatures) 100 of these will come (these are for the low level̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s). After all 100 have been defeated then you may access the main castle. All floors in the castle are multi-combat.

 

 

 

On floor 1 there will be 50 melee fighters (lvl 25-40) there will be a door that is locked on each floor of the castle that needs a key to be unlocked to proceed to the next floor.

 

 

 

To get a Key you must kill all the enemies on that floor, the last will drop a key, once you killed it, you automatically pick it up (no inventory required) and walk to the door and unlock it.

 

 

 

On floor 2 there will be 40 warriors but there will also be 15 mages to support them. But instead of dropping a key one person will have to use a random skill to remove a path to proceed around level 35-50 required.

 

 

 

Floor 3, 35 warriors, 10 mages and 10 rangers killed and random skill, other then the one used on floor 2, requiring levels 40-60 to continue.

 

 

 

Floor 4 will have 30 warriors in the open, along with 10 rangers and mages supporting with spells and arrows from behind barricades. All must be killed and another random skill requiring levels 50-75 required.

 

 

 

Floor 5 will have 30 warriors and 5 archers in the open and 10 rangers and 10 mages fenced off. Another skill ranged from level 65-85 to pass on.

 

 

 

On the 6th floor there will be a Knight (around level 200), he will be able to fight in VERY STONG melee, and he will receive support from the kings̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ daughter (level 70), who is very skilled in archery, from behind a fenced off area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Skill blockages might be like the stairwell is covered in vines and you need 50 herblore to make sure they̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re not poisonous or there is a gap in the stairs, and you need to repair it with 65 crafting. This will be random each game so it will add more excitement. Sometimes, there will be a multi requirement, like chop some vines (57 WC), then burn them off (62 FM); one person must have both skills to continue.

 

 

 

There will be different requirement (a lower lvl say around lvl 35-50 and a higher requirement, say round lvl 60-90) blockages for each floor and the game will chose 6 skills and 6 levels at random and use them

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the top-most floor there will be a king (lvl 413) and his chancellor (level 300) the king uses 2 areas of combat in a multi-target area, while the chancellor uses the other. The king uses multi-target attacks, like barrage and burst magic (multi hitting ones) (?) and berserker swings (a new melee attack that hits everyone in surrounding squares) while the chancellor fires rapid ranging (shoots 10 arrows at 2-10 targets)/ explosive arrows(shoots at one person, does high damage(20+) and hurts players surrounding them like smite).

 

 

 

If you kill the king the game ends Players will have 20 minutes to assassinate the king to get 3 tickets for those who are left alive. If the king is not assassinated in the designated time then the player will get 1 ticket of every 50 kills.
