Is it ture that more people cut a yew tree, faster for the tree to disappear??

I believe the answer is yes, as in theory the trees will be programmed to "stump" after a random number of logs have been cut. So the more people who cut the logs the quicker the random number will be hit and therefore the tree will be "stumped" quicker.
