April 4, 200719 yr over 53 would help you as well I have to agree with RedBuddas here, I had 53 when I did the quest and gained a level in the Bandit Camp getting lockpicks for the chest. I think I used around 50 before I finally got it right.

April 4, 200719 yr I don't really know, it's all about luck, but a couple levels higher should help substantually. Lockpicks can be obtained by thieving rogues in lvl 50ish wild, pickpocketing bandits in the bandit camp near the chest or buying them in rogues den below the pub in burthorpe, but you need 50 agility and thieving to buy them. The last is by far the most convenient. The face mask is required, without it you will recieve about 25 damage every 10 seconds in the smoke dungeon.
April 4, 200719 yr Since your agility is 50+, as soon as you get your Thieving to 50+, you can buy Lockpicks cheaply in the Rogue's Den in Burthorpe. Stock up on them so you don't have to thieve the bandits to get more. And just like most things in Runescape, its all luck, but the higher your level, the more likely you are to be successful. I did DT around 65 Thieving and got it on the 3rd try. Dragon Drops - 10 Meds, 9 Legs, 5 Skirts, 2 Left HalfPM me to have any potions made or crafting done
