Can someone who uses pay by phone or pay by sms explain to me how it works? The FAQ on the RS site doesn't exactly answer all my questions. Is there a number you call/text? Do you talk to an actual person or a machine? Does it just add on to your bill or does it come up as RUNESCAPE on the bill? Please only people who know what they are talking about.

Well, select the payment option in the "new subscription", login, change country if needed, select the option again and you should receive the info you need.

Ya that answer doesnt help, cuz i have members on credit card, so it makes me cancel it to see what pay by phone is, so i dont wanna do that.

i pay by text, this is what i do.

 

 

 

press the extend subscription thing. (start a new if your not membs yet)

 

 

 

click pay by phone/sms (the one in the middle)

 

 

 

then click pay by sms (the one on the right)

 

 

 

put in your username and pass

 

 

 

enter your number your texting from in the box

 

 

 

youll see a number, you text rs to it.

 

 

 

wait, and theyll text you a pin

 

 

 

enter the pin you got texted into the box on the rs website

 

 

 

done, your membs will instantly activate.

ya i needed help with this too and that helped a lot, but does like, extending a membership add on another month after ur done with that month, or does it just start the new month from the moment u texted(which i guess is kinda cheap and unreasonable but gotta know jic)

Your going to have to wait until your CC membership runs out than, you go, to "get a new subscription" and your number and everything than you should, be able to, try it at the end of ur subscription!
