Okay, So I need a mud rune for a Quest I can't find anyone to trade me so I decide its easiest to just make one.

 

 

 

Ive checked the runetips guide on making them and im at the water Altar in Lumbridge.

 

I have with me 2 earth talismans, 2 earth runes and 2 pure essence.

 

I can't make them, it just says 'nothing interesting happens'.

 

Im really at the end of my tether,

That's odd. Are you using the earth talisman on the altar? And is your RC level high enough?

Also.. did you bring the water talisman with you to actually get into the altar? That would help if you didn't.

Lol its been so long since I did Runecrafting I forgot about the water talisman bit,
