I dont know exactly what goes wrong, I live in this dormitory and the internet connection goes through a proxy-server. I can only get as far as to the "connecting to update server" and then it takes me to the black screen saying that I cant get online. <.<

 

I've configured my firewall to allow runescape, and ive configured my Java and I spoke to the net admin about a possible external blocking of runescape (a week ago) but it doesnt really work. :wall:

 

I'll check on him again tomorrow to see if actually did any work, but still I would expect him to be done by now...

 

I̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôd really appreciate ANY help you guys can give me. :thumbsup:

make sure your net-admin hasnt blocked rs.

 

 

 

make sure the world your trying to play on isnt too far away.

Well, it seems other java based games run without any problems, and I (always) choose the recommended world, which always works when i'm at home... It is probably the admin then, he is a kind of noob at his job anyway <.<
