ok, i know it is against the rule to talk about them, but i just want to know what they are and why they are illegal, someon answer this please.

They are a small copy of the game that was stolen to Jagex. Its totally empty and everything (except the character models and the map) most be reprogrammed from scratch using Runescript. Its illegal (even IRL) because it belongs to Jagex and was stolen from them.

Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

so, is that why i see loads of scammers on websites going: "look! i have 99999m of everything! send me your pass and i will give you loads of stuff"? is that how they get that much stuff?

Yes they use private servers to create nice bank screenies.

 

A lot faster and easier than using photoshop or other image editings..

 

Basicly the sites are trying to steal your account nothing else.

 

Here is one example without bank pic. Different tactic but same point, scam. Do not enter your username and password sites like this!

hmm...i saw this video once and it had this guy withdraw loads of stuff from his bank and drop it (phats, santas, etc) so how do they do that?

The same way.

 

 

 

 

 

Private Servers = "New Runescape" so to speak... A private server isn't the same as playing on runescape.com

 

 

 

means you can cheat, on most private servers too, to get 500 attack, or 600 party hats.
