The beginning of it is slow, but once you get to 2 traps, the speed increases greatly.

 

 

 

 

 

By the standard definition, this skill isn't hard, although it is somewhat tedious. It requires a lot of clicking, where precision doesn't exactly matter so much as your method. My suggestion to train it would be to do Crimson Swifts until you get to level 19. At that point, switch off to Tropical Wagtails. From there, it kinda comes down to personal opinion, but from level 19 on for a while, Tropical Wagtails would be your best option.

 

 

 

If you really have the patience, you could turn around and use the Stripy Feathers from the Wagtails for fishing (Rainbow Fish - Fly Fishing). Either that, or any feathers obtain from any of the 5 birds can be used for Fletching as normal.

Yes, I know about that place... However if you train Hunter, each of the birds will provide you with regular Bones each kill. When you start catching them quickly, that's much faster than any Wilderness spawn.
