tripsis Posted May 1, 2007 Share Posted May 1, 2007 Once you have the image resized to under 8kb, you have two options: 1. Save the new avatar image to your computer. Then go to your profile, scroll down to the avatar section and next to the option, "Upload Avatar from your machine" you should be able to click a button and upload the avatar directly. 2. Once you have the new avatar image that is under 8kb, upload it to a free image host site (like imageshack.us). Once you upload it, copy and paste the direct link. This link should look something like this: http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/2724 ... AMEpi9.gif Your URL will look slightly different, of course, but the same format. In your profile, scroll down to where it says "Link to off-site Avatar." To the right of that, there should be a blank box. Paste your avatar URL in there. By resizing, you normally only have to lower the quality of the image, something usually done in Photoshop or MS Paint even.
