maui059
According to the skill guide fruit trees should take 14.6 hours to grow. I have noticed two times now, Sunday and now today that when planting my apple trees and paying the farmer to watch them that it is taking a lot longer for my trees to mature. My first problem was on Sunday (monday morning technicly), I planted 3 apple trees between 12:10 A.M. and 12:30 A.M. CST. I then checked my trees at work late Monday afternoon expecting them to be completed but they were not. I followed up with them all through the evening at home and before going to bed Monday night (again technicly Tuesday morning) at approxamatley 1:00 A.M. they had still not matured. By 8:30 A.M. on Tuesday morning the trees had matured so they took somewhere between 24-32 hours to mature. I am having the same issue now with trees that I planted yesterday at 4:30 P.M. They should have matured at 7:10 A.M. today but as of 10:40 A.M. still have not done so. I have checked all 4 apple trees.
willyhenriksen
That time is for optimal care, did you use super compost? R.I.P. Shiva and Steve
maui059
No I did not use compost at all as I was paying the farmers to watch my trees.

Jake_Corsair
Had it happen to me, I've planted all 4 fruit patches at the same time (given the time it takes to get to each one). Went back around the time they should be done, the first and last ones were done, while the 2nd and 3rd weren't. The 3rd one finished in a little under 2 hours later and the second one wasn't done until about 6 hours after it should've been. Yea, the times are just approximate times that it will take to grow. They aren't meant to be taken too literal. Usually whenever I plant fruit trees because of that (with super compost and farmers watching), I don't even bother to check them until at least 24 hours later. If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]
maui059
You use compost even though a farmer is watching your patch?
