Hello! In those quests where you need planks (In Aid of the Myreque, for example), would it be possible to use just any planks, such as oak planks, instead of regular planks?

No, I believe you must use an actual plank. They're easy enough to collect (Barbarian Outpost, Entrana and cheap from Sawmill in Varrock)
